Hi Ed! Sorry I've not been around much - a last minute decision to visit mummy PB in the internetless back of beyond for Christmas had a lot to do with it - but it was nice to spend the time with her.
You're doing very well. The past few months have totally and utterly ruined my finances and I need to start from scratch - perhaps I feel a new diary coming on. You've got it nailed, so come over, advise and help me figure out how to invest once I'm out of debt.
I tried making homebrew wine as well, but it all went horribly wrong - my flat wasn't warm enough and the yeast didn't ferment but I didn't realise it at the time so a massive 30 bottle kit + 4.5Kg of brewing sugar went down the plughole. I was thinking of trying again in the summer but I need to come up with a better plan as I have 30 empty wine bottles sat at home and I can't just keep them as I don't have the space (and make me look like an OCD alcoholic as well!). I may have to brew them at my aunt's house and pay her the groundrent in wine.
Happy new year to you, Mrs E., everyone else on here *waves to everyone* and long may your wonderful wealth accumulating ways continue.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

I think it would become the room of requirement (for the HP fans out there)
You *should* start a diary, there is no time like tonight!
Sorry to hear about the wine, I bet your drains smelled wonderful. A cheap fish tank heater (sterilised and be careful not to remove it until 30 mins after you turn it off or it might crack) is probably the way to go. Something like this.Dodgy hugs Ed.
House looks lovely. 1930s?
Thanks Alchemilla. It might be, or it might be masquerading as a 1930s house (hard to tell which, as the neighbouring houses have different finishes as well). 1930s houses are lovely though.- £2 to Freedom Fund

Taking Mrs E away this weekend, we need new horizons and space to ignore our lives for just a little bit0 -
