Took down my tree the other day - must say it felt great. Love Christmas though I do, it is a relief to get it away and begin a normal life again

Recycling old ones PD, all sanitised now. All that remains is to make my priming solution, 'dose' each bottle, let that cool, fill and cap them.
It's probably worth the effort...
*Edit: Just finished, 39 bottles made it safely to the spare room, 1 bit the big one due to my overly enthusiastic capping technique.0 -
Ed, i woke up worrying about this which shows how very sad i am....how do you come up with the very precise amounts each day for your various funds?0

Lol - it's kind of you to ask
I have an Excel workbook with 13 tabs (one for each month, one for held back money (i.e. emergency fund, stoozed credit card money, factor's bills, annual insurance costs etc.)
On each monthly tab, the money held back + that month's bills is subtracted from total salaries for Mrs E and I + savings.
That provides our 'spare' money total for the month.
From that point.... I stick my finger in the air and make it up :rotfl:
Ok, it's not quite that simple. It's largely determined by my need to make daily payments to keep myself on track (and making sure we don't run out by the end of the month).
For the Freedom Fund, it's a combination of the above (spare money = pocket money in this case), plus fixed additions (i.e. my monthly first aider supplement, my Halifax fivers and 100% gross of any cashback/eBay sales).
Bet you're sorry you asked now- £7.17 to Freedom Fund
- £4 to Remortgage Pot
- £2 to Kitchen Pot
- Posted an eBay item
- Will list another couple of eBay items, honest

Today I'll be making HM Serrano ham stock, a sausage plait and panettone bread and butter pudding.
It'll taste better than it looks!0 -

We had half a whole leg of Serrano ham, it is proving very tasty! Actually healthier than I'd imagined, less saturated fat and very filling with all the protein.
Ok doke, a gloomy day as the Christmas tree comes down and we polish shoes and make sandwiches for work tomorrow.
That was a good holiday, but I feel a bit like I squandered it sitting on my !!! drinking beer. Ah well, at least I enjoy both of those- £2 to Freedom Fund
