I have amassed a couple of bottles of whisky for the holidays, two of which were 'free' gifts from clients, so I raise a glass to yours! The beer expenditure sounds great and aside from the advice I offered previously, just keep everything spotlessly clean and rinsed when making the brew and kegging it and you'll be fine.0

Thanks SD - starting off today with an £8 Wilko pilsner. Works out at 25p a pint once sugar is included. Even if it's rubbish, it's probably going to be better than Tennent's!
*Edit: fermenting now, not bad for 45 minutes of effort!
Having got all my housework out of the way, today is going to be a chilled out afternoon of reading magazines, making some beer and going to our local for a couple of drinks once Mrs E catches up with her cleaning
Planning on drafting my 2014 financial resolutions tomorrow!- £4.45 to Freedom Fund
- £2 to Remortgage Pot
- £1 to Kitchen Pot

Just back from the pub. At over £14 for 4 beers, I'm also glad! :rotfl:0 -
Looking forward to hearing how the home brewing goes! & well done Mrs E on her big win! Sounds like you've got enough chocs to last you right through to next Christmas :rotfl:a penny picker upper. Sorry NP - the shoes remain unpolished - but the fish tank, the hoovering, the mopping, the rubbish and the dusting were all taken care of on Friday.
