I can't keep up with this thread at the moment. Thank you to all the people who have given advice, I will get round to thanking the posts. I've just had a none stop busy day. Went to GP went well, she had booked a counseling session for me this afternoon. Went really really well, I laughed, cried and smiled during it. So worth it!:T

Oh and I popped off to tesco and bought some more eggs:o:o

Oh and I found a £6 off £40 spend voucher:j:T:j:T will go nicely with the £10 off £30 spend.

And finally Price check vouchers are so slow atm! I'm waiting for quite a few.

And I keep forgetting to look for the new Price Flop booklets:mad:

    Hope everybody is well!! :)

I see something to do with a Glitch at WHsmith, looks too confusing for me. Took me a week to work out the boots 3 for 2 vitamin glitch:o and it took Boots double the time:D:D

I wish I had hours spare to catch up:mad: I will try to over the weekend. But I won't post as much as I use to just because I have a lot of Uni work and assignments in for the next few weeks.

    I'll be back!:p

Glad your session went well LTF!:j Now you need a good coupon shop!

Make sure you pop on here and let us know how you are going on, there's always an ear to listen to you on here anytime of day or night so don't feel you need to wait to speak to someone we will try our best in the meantime!!

  • Mission control driving me mad. People are just not favouriting my posts. Put loads on, not even one got the thumbs up. Gonna give up soon.

Got caught out with the Lenor yesterday with Asda putting the price up. Thinking about how to rectify. Might just take them back then all I have lost is the vouchers.

  • :hello:Evening Elite! How are we all today? Hope the majority are healthy, happy and smiling and thinking of those that aren't.

I've had a good money saving day :j

After editing my order with milk and more last night and losing my creme eggs I was contemplating whether to give them a call or not and ask. I found a local number so thought why not? Anyway 10 mins later I was credited the amount to my account so I could effectively buy the creme eggs :T So I've got 36 toilet rolls, a 400g box of Toffifee and 6 Creme eggs for £1.98! :D Great service, fingers crossed it doesn't come too early in the morning

My nerves were shot to pieces in WHSmith especially with the manager on the till and the tiny shop empty!!:o I asked if it was possible to buy gift cards with gift cards and she didn't understand at first but then she got it and said no problem. I managed to find one card for £1.50 to start the ball rolling so my outlay was only £11.50. After the first card she made a joke saying 'so now you've gone away and are coming back for another card right?' ;);) Cue me picking up 18 x £1.89 cards (aren't their cards ridiculously priced??!!) and proceeding to the till for 18 transactions! About halfway through the till started playing up and she was having to key in all the giftcard numbers. She started off happy and jokey but by the end she was a little  Oops! :o Wish I could have gone round again but I would have been pushing my luck too far so called it quits. This was only my local little Smiths so I walked (how MSE!) End result = £11.50 for 19 cards and £70.97 on giftcards, I imagine that's nothing in comparison to some but I'm really pleased :D THANK YOU soooooo much OP! Made all the better that you can use them online! :T

M's on the way home got a packet of honey roast ham for 29p :T

Still gutted I missed yesterday's Mirror but going to pop to T's later to get some Pilgrims choice which expires today with the 30p coupon and price 'flop' coupon, works out at a good price.

OMG could there be anything less MSE than this? Could spend your giftcards on it!;)

I was lucky enough to go on one of these driving days a few years back when I worked for the mobile phone company who sponsored Ferrari... I drove one and other cars and a single seater race car- it was the best day ever but the price? £400!:eek::eek:Do people pay that?It was an experience of a lifetime though.

    And it was free!:T:T:T

Just got back from a normal t. Sausage meat in freezer reduced to 32p. ood sel £3.00 Ariel white 1l stain remover £4.55. T classic stonebacked pizza's pepperoni and meat feast £2.00 (offer expires tonight) charged £3.59. DTD offered, with a smile (I'm in shock) straight away with the comment - they seemed to have finished the offer early, they've told the dept. to remove the end of aisle display! (sa was actually doing this when I picked up the pizza but he wasn't removing the sels! Suggest someone tries the other varieties as well. Makes it 41p per pizza. HTH

  • Evening everyone, not been about as a fibro flare up knocked me sideways for a few days...well done to all in the WHS glitch, well jealous but no stores anywhere near me anyway. Managed a coupon shop before the weekend, using over 30 coupons in one transaction with no problems and a £45+ shop for around £12! Well stocked with cleaning products for a while now, just need someone to do the actual cleaning. Managed to nip in to Ts yesterday and treated myself to a few pieces to celebrate my 3 stone award at SW, hadnt bought clothes for 2 years and down 2 full sizes so very pleased

Just wanted to add how touched and humbled I am by the fantastic support on this thread, whether its someone having a carp day or serious illness/losing a loved one, there are so many kind words from everyone here. For a bunch of people who've come together online over a love of saving money, and in the vast majority of cases have and will never meet in the real world, you lot are simply the best and many real life friends could certainly take a leaf from your books and I feel honoured to be a part of it

On that note I apologise for my long post and sent my biggest hugs to all those who need or want them xx
