Hi all, great DTD day finding Duracell batteries. you think theyve got them all, but theres always one! Anyway, wanted to get the batteries so ignored the other DTD i saw in 2 stores. Tesco Finest corn-fed chicken drumsticks and thighs. SEL (white) saus £3.90 but plenty of stock out priced at £5.49. They are different bar codes but the product is def identical. I actually buy this (as I only get free range chicken) and am shocked at the price rise. Never had the nerve to try for two DTDs in one shop and wont be back in the area until its gone. Not free but not bad for £2.31

I was lucky today managed 19 cards and most were £1.50 so have £75.52 worth of gift cards

The WHS I used only had one till in the whole shop!!

I've only got really small WHS's near me. Can anyone tell me if the larger stores stock Ipads or similar as I'd like to use my vouchers towards one if poss

I would like to do the same, have been looking on line and can see e readers, the nearest to an i pad seems to be the Kobo vox e reader..

Evening to all you lovely folk :beer:
Mr 3Dogs has been much brighter today, and was up in his chair again for 2 hours this morning. They removed two drain tubes this afternoon which leaves just one on his right side, underneath the colostomy bag. It hurt loads when nurse pulled the second one out, but at least them coming out means that he is making progress. In fact, the doc who saw him just before I arrived today, said he was really pleased with the change in him over the last 36 hours and with how he was recovering from the actual operation

Having pumped up the morphine ready for the removal of the drain tubes, he was starting to doze off afterwards so I came away then to let him rest

It was a shame that I missed seeing the doc, but I took ages to find a car park space and then I ran into a friend in the foyer and was letting her know about Mr 3Dogs. Otherwise I would have had a good explanation from the doc, but he said that if I get there for 2 pm on Thursday, he will come to talk to me then, unless he gets called to an emergency as he is on call that day. I think we will still have to wait until Friday morning for the prognosis, treatment plan, etc

I am not finding enough time or energy to catch-up fully on the thread so please forgive me for not commenting on other people's problems, birthdays, bargains, glitches, etc. I still haven't even doen the SSM Mission :eek: :eek:

But thank you for all your wonderful posts of support and lovely pm's which I relate to Mr 3dogs when I visit. The support system on this thread is fantastic - good old fashioned community spirit :j :j

I wonder if you can buy giftcards with them?....cant find anything in terms and conditions :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
