I meant to add earlier I had to walk through BHS to get to Smiths today and they had huge signs up saying buy a £25 gift card get a £5 one free. I don't know exactly what the deal was and I'm working tomorrow but if anyones in the vicinity of BHS might be worth a little look, or am I just becoming obsessed with vouchers:o

I doubt any animal charity would want to accept Iams, it is made by P&G who carry out cruel and sickening tests on animals, needlessly killing hundreds of thousands of cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and mice amongst others for needless tests which are not even required. Not here to preach or anything I just thought it ironic. I'm sure your intentions are good but you would be doing more for the animals by not buying the brand at all and donating some blankets or an hour of your time or even a brand that doesn't use such barbaric cruelty.

Sorry got to disagree with you. I got my Poppy from Manchester Dogs Home and she came to her forever home with a free bag of Iams.

    Sorry for disagreeing :(

Seeing as you feel so strongly about it I'm assuming you do not use SSM or their associated vouchers. It's run by or funded by P&G as all of the vouchers are for P&G products.

Personally, I'd imagine that an animal charity would be happy to accept any food offered freely, as rejecting it will not have any effect on how animals were treated previously, and as they are paying no money to P&G they are not funding it.

    It's only a game

It depends on the price of the cards you buy,I bought some cheapies but some more expensive ones, decided I might as well get some I really needed;)I've ended up with just over £100 in giftcards, 6 X £15 and three odd smaller ones and 24 greetings cards:T

Just got back so still catching up but am loving Smiths at the moment, even though I did have to make 24 trips to the tills:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No way were mine going toput them through in one hit or in bulk. Got myself a right little system going though. The ones that only had a little bit left on them I poked in the top of my purse, then everytime I had 5 I used them and put the £15 in the side of my bag so I didnt get muddled:oIt took severe concentration :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Out of my 49 cards....45 of them were the funny rude ones!!:rotfl::rotfl: and a couple with kittens on for the MIL :rotfl:

I had a system going with the SA's too.
Every gift card with a balance left after paying, she'd wrap the receipt around it so I didn't mix it up with the "full ones" When there was nothing left on it she'd throw it away.
I've noticed that it says the receipt should be kept with the giftcard. Is anyone else doing this? I think half of mine got chucked!!

The first SA asked me if I was one of the people a while back who bagged a free copy the James Martin Recipe book.....I don't remember ever hearing about that glitch..... but she said there are often similar deals where offers overlap making stuff either free or very nearly.:j
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
