Evening to all you lovely folk
Mr 3Dogs has been much brighter today, and was up in his chair again for 2 hours this morning. They removed two drain tubes this afternoon which leaves just one on his right side, underneath the colostomy bag. It hurt loads when nurse pulled the second one out, but at least them coming out means that he is making progress. In fact, the doc who saw him just before I arrived today, said he was really pleased with the change in him over the last 36 hours and with how he was recovering from the actual operation
Having pumped up the morphine ready for the removal of the drain tubes, he was starting to doze off afterwards so I came away then to let him rest
It was a shame that I missed seeing the doc, but I took ages to find a car park space and then I ran into a friend in the foyer and was letting her know about Mr 3Dogs. Otherwise I would have had a good explanation from the doc, but he said that if I get there for 2 pm on Thursday, he will come to talk to me then, unless he gets called to an emergency as he is on call that day. I think we will still have to wait until Friday morning for the prognosis, treatment plan, etc
I am not finding enough time or energy to catch-up fully on the thread so please forgive me for not commenting on other people's problems, birthdays, bargains, glitches, etc. I still haven't even doen the SSM Mission
But thank you for all your wonderful posts of support and lovely pm's which I relate to Mr 3dogs when I visit. The support system on this thread is fantastic - good old fashioned community spirit :j :j
Glad Mr3dogs is better today hugs to you both0 -

The support system on this thread is fantastic - good old fashioned community spirit :j :jAlso incase you didnt allready know (just remembered when you mentioned about looking for a parking space), alot of NHS car parks offer discounts if you buy weekly passes (My local is £10 for a 7day ticket) or £1 an hour normally... Really helpful if you have someone your going to visit every day for a few hours a day... I am sure you allready know this but just wanted to let you know just incase you didnt:)

don't know much about it...has anyone got one?
My grandaughter had a kobo for Christmas.
I think they are all pretty much of a muchness TBH....apart from the Kindle which is one on it's own and you can only download books from the kindle store.
My GDD decided to go with the Kobo because it's compatable with our library (Kindle isn't....only in USA) so she can borrow books on it for free.
Kobo has very good reviews...it's just fairly new here in the UK.
This is what I will be buying if I can't use the vouchers towards a tabletMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

I've just had a none stop busy day. Went to GP went well, she had booked a counseling session for me this afternoon. Went really really well, I laughed, cried and smiled during it. So worth it!:T
Oh and I popped off to tesco and bought some more eggs:o:o
Oh and I found a £6 off £40 spend voucher:j:T:j:T will go nicely with the £10 off £30 spend.
And finally Price check vouchers are so slow atm! I'm waiting for quite a few.
And I keep forgetting to look for the new Price Flop booklets:mad:
Hope everybody is well!!
I see something to do with a Glitch at WHsmith, looks too confusing for me. Took me a week to work out the boots 3 for 2 vitamin glitch:o and it took Boots double the time:D:D
I wish I had hours spare to catch up:mad: I will try to over the weekend. But I won't post as much as I use to just because I have a lot of Uni work and assignments in for the next few weeks.
I'll be back!:p0 -
