Hi tinyshoes,
Thanks but will have to give it a miss. Poorly car!
Managed to get to whs, just under £100 in gift cards. Picked ds3 up from nursey and had to walk home. Waiting to see if car changes its mind before i call RAC!
Oh no, hope car is better now.
Would that be from the WHS that I would probably go to if I had not been too chicken to try after Nikkilala's encounter with the manager. :rotfl:
Well done Nikki, not sure how I would have coped with that.0 -

Just of phone to housing place, they've just got the keys to the lastest house they're going to show me. TBH it looks better from the outside than any of the others and at least the bathroom's upstairs in this one. Hopefully will get to see it by this time next week but could be another month before I move in
Still feeling a bit low but trying to keep myself busy, got our cross community thing on tonight and hopefully I'll have a better one than last week, at least I shouldn't be able to seriously hurt myself at this one, fingers crossed;)SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Approx £160 on gift cards, 49 * £1.99 cards and a £12 outlay.
Give or take a few pennies! So 10 full gift cards and one with around £10 on it.
How did I do?
Wow! Well done you!:T:T:T:T I was happy with my 8 gift cards not sure how many cards (approx. 40) as gave some to Mum & sister. Might try again tomorrow. The SA's were brilliant but felt like I was taking the mickey!:p0 -

I was gone!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I had the most fantastic Manager...
I put 10 cards through individually, paid £11.55 and got £67.02 in gift cards..
I told him I had to take my Mother to hospital and Id be back in about an hour.. He said that I was very welcome because he was on commission for every giftcard that was sold through the store..
Walked back in, I told the same person to fire up the other till as I was on a mission and he informed me that he was at that moment putting posters up "Gift cards can not be bought by gift cards"..
he apologised.. I felt sorry for him because he told me that earlier that he was going to do it later as he has staff discount too!!!!
Ah well, I still think I did well and thank you everyone for all your help.. Your a good lot on here :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:[/QUOTE]

A$da is full of dreadful chavs!:D
I'm placing a bet on a backwards baseball cap, rolled up trousers or grey saggy jogging bottoms and a lot of unnecessary bling.Probably a missing tooth or two.
Nice!

Re WHS gift card process .....
No doubt it works, as people have posted details, but I have a question .....
If for every 7 transactions you end up with 7 greeting cards (assuming they cost £2.50) and 2 £15 gift cards and all for an outlay of £12.50!
Then how come people have 28 greetings cards and yet only £90 odd pounds with of gift cards.
Surely if they have 28 greeting cards they should have 8 x £15 gift cards!!
If my maths is correct 28 greetings cards is 4 lots of 7 transactions. Thus 4 lots of 2 x £15 gift cards = 8 x £15 gift cards - so why have they not got £120 worth of gift cards
It depends on the price of the cards you buy,I bought some cheapies but some more expensive ones, decided I might as well get some I really needed;)I've ended up with just over £100 in giftcards, 6 X £15 and three odd smaller ones and 24 greetings cards:TI see it's already confirmed that the WHS offer is still working. Working for me also in two different stores. The first was just around the corner from the docs where I was this morning(suspected hairline fracture of the foot:() and superdrug was right nect door so got two of the Dettol NT handwash and a few pence off my other things.:) Went to the second WHS after resting my foot in the car for a while.
Now resting with my foot up and waiting confirmation of when I can go for an Xray:(
Edit. Sorry.Meant to say thanks to OPs for the above deals
Hope the foot is feeling better Artha:(DanielleNic87 wrote: »Afternoon all
Today has been one of the worst days ever.... FIL has been given his results from when he had his op to remove the cancer and sort out his bowel. He has to start having chemo in 12 weeks as he has to wait so he has recovered from his op. He has about 50/60% chance of 5-6 years left.
Im off now to cancel the wedding as OH has gone up the hospital. I am devastated.
Sending you cyber hugs:(
Just got back so still catching up but am loving Smiths at the moment, even though I did have to make 24 trips to the tills:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No way were mine going toput them through in one hit or in bulk. Got myself a right little system going though. The ones that only had a little bit left on them I poked in the top of my purse, then everytime I had 5 I used them and put the £15 in the side of my bag so I didnt get muddled:oIt took severe concentration :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Lol that's what I did! Otherwise you would end up with God know how many with odd £'s on but hey it's free anyway!
Mine was quite easy though all my cards were £1.89 so after each 4 I knew there was enough for a whole one. Then just kept piling them up! On the face of it you would think going back and forth to the tills that many times would arouse a lot of suspicion but it wasn't until this afternoon I was stopped after 6 saying I had to pay for the cards....lol thank you anyway goodbye!!!
I know some are reporting signs up saying can't buy giftcards with giftcards...wonder if anyone's brave enough to try again tomorrow?Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0
