  • Forgot to say, I was after a duplicate receipt yesterday, CS said sorry only up to 2 days after. Gave up and thought I'd try another time, but later I stumbled across the MOST HELPFUL Checkout Manager, who initially said 9 days (mine was 10) but had a look anyway, and bingo, printed it off, nothing was too much trouble for her. Had a nose at the screen they use, it's a spreadsheet with every transaction in date/time order (no surprises there you might think) but it was interesting, obviously I couldn't nose too much. I asked her about it, she said it was quite a good system to work with.

Got a triple now on the cancer front: MIL, brother and now FIL :(
I'm fine, don't need any sympathy, only mentioning because I know so many of us have poorly LOs, hugs to you all.

Caz was wondering if you could work something out for me.

i have done this 5 times with cards that cost £1.75 ,how much should i have on my cards.

i still cant get my head around how it works:rotfl:
    tia

    Transaction 1: £1.75 + £10 = £11.75 + £15 on GC1
    Trans 2: £3.25 remaining on GC1 + £15 on GC2
    Trans 3: £0 on GC1, £6.50 on GC2 and £15 on GC3
    Trans 4: £0 on GC2, £9.75 on GC3 and £15 on GC4
    Trans 5: £0 on GC3, £13 on GC4 and £15 on GC5

By my calculations, £13 on one card and £15 on another if you spent the dregs as you went. £16.25 profit :T Well done!

Just had one heck of a shock / surprise :)

My many many thanks go out to Mr Happy Chappy and his Sis Westvleteren.
A kind and generous gift that will live on in my memory for a heck of a lot longer than the beer will remain in the bottle .

Cheers and Good Health .

One good turn deserves another. Give and take is the name of the game.

I can't help but think that HC thinks he has go the better end of the deal - a lizard to add to his menagerie of 'friends":rotfl::rotfl:

Hope your fish didn't get too golden ;)

    Enjoy. :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Xmas Saver!
Done the WHsmith card thingy, ended up doing this 5 times, the staff where not going to let me do it again, so let it be!

I found an Acceptance card with a DD code which was £1, so I now have one £15 card and 4x£4, so £31 of WHsmith credit for £11.

THanks for this, wonder if it will be on tomorrow.........
