T's own long life batteries are B1G2F again, maybe it was that?

I did find a slight glitch on the triple A's, found packets that have 100% extra free as well as the B1G2F.

There's been nothing major doing, we're all sat patiently waiting for the next glitch :rotfl:

Ok I may be onto nothing here but ....... was in my very untidy Extra today and spotted loads of empty shelves where the drinks offers had been. One empty shelf baffled me though. I couldn't look too hard as there was a manager hovering but there was a yellow SEL for an 18pack of ordinary full fat Coca-Cola. Nothing strange there ... but ... the price per X underneath the price for the pack had been covered over by marker pen. I'm wondering was there an error with the price per 100ml/litre and there might be a DTD in the making??

Apart from that I encountered an SA who actually knew what to do with a JTD. Wonders will never cease. Found some RTC toys and put 4 in the trolley for DS. Bless him, he put another one in and I didn't have the heart to take it out. On the way back to the car I told him to pick up a discarded receipt (a Womble in the making at 2 1/2 years old!). T'was a small receipt, only one item but *fingers crossed* a potential JTD of £7 :D That will cover the cost of the toys I got for him.

Struggled to find the energy or inclination to walk around Ts today. I think we are in serious need of a glitch or three to get us back on track but please, no chocolate!

please make sure mr 3dogs takes it easy when eating. as his stoma is so very new. make sure he chews his food properly. and (for now) avoids foods like mushrooms, carrots, peanuts as these can easily cause a blockage. fizzy drinks will cause extra wind. marshmellows thicken up the output.also dont panic if mr3dogs eats beetroot. my late hubby was on the phone dialling 999 when i had eaten that. it doesnt digest well so in my "bag" was what looked like blood clots (beetroot) and the red/purple colour beetroot leaves. late hubby thought i must be bleeding internally. :o

mmw, what sensible practical advice. Brilliant. :A
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • kadison has some really good ideas...what subject is that you are studying? There will be some really useful stuff in haralambos and holborn "Sociology themes and perspectives", its a hugeee book and costs about £20 maybe more:eek: but got me through my a-levels with a B:cool:
Am sure there is a section on health and social care in there so let me know if you need some references or studies

oohh...i remember that book. Haramlambos is literally like a dumb bell in a book form. I dont own one as i coulnd't afford it :o:o i had to borrow it for 6 hours a day (on short loan from the library) and i did this 3 times a week.

They come in so handy don't they these kids :rotfl::rotfl:

My DD has just turned 2 and she loves getting the reciepts (or 'seats' as she calls them!) for me

There was a woman looking at us funny the other day as she picked one up, so I was like 'no, you don't throw rubbish on the ground, pick that up for mummy please' ;) :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm still struggling to find actual statistics to quote. Most councils annual expenditure isn't broken down enough to use.
I'm doing a comparison of two similar seaside towns Torquay and Bournemouth. Wages in Torquay being a lot lower I think. As far as I've sussed so far, drugs are a bigger problem in Torquay. 3 dedicated NHS rehab units rather than 1 in Bournemouth.
Both are retirement areas with a higher than average percentage of the population over 65. I've assumed that with Torbay being less affluent there will be a greater demand for Govt funded care of the elderly...where people haven't madse provisions for their own Nursing care should the need arise.
Because of the drugs problems there will be more children on the at risk register needing social workers etc etc.....
I know there a few regulars who are from Dorset. Any info if you are around tonight or pointers to where I can get some statistics or reports to quote, I would be eternally grateful.

    The website here is dorsetforyou
There are pages of statistics for housing and health as well as info on diversity in the coomunity. If i can work out how to, i will pop link up. Bloomin ipad!!!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
