I think I need to avoid it for my sanity lol!!!
I would never normally spend £40 a week for just me (hear that violin? No me neither:(:D) so it had to be with coupons as much as poss and that's not that easy.I'm quite "stocked up" now on loads of things thankfully;)
Right ... here's a challenge I've set myself ... pay £1.50 for a £40 shop. I got the MoS this afternoon so really I'll have paid the £1.50 ... now I just need 40 x Flash coupons
(Pity I spent 10 this afternoon ... I'll just have to get some more)0 -

Also, not sure you would get away with it but the no touches are £5 in Asda or £4.79 in Superdrug, I am cheeky enough to try it so may do tomorrow.
That would be great! Has anyone tried to use safe coupons in superdrug before?I think I will try tomorrow! It lets you print 2 as well...
Forgot to say thanks to OP for this coupon, any coupon that makes a product free is perfect!!!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

(off to naughty step)
evening nutters
just been to my local T to get some food for the week, wasn't really in the mood for any more Ts today...
got my jtd voucher today but I hoped for a bigger onestupid fiano
oh well...
also went for a little trip in the car :eek::eek: with bf
I'd ideally jump on the bus and go around london but he loves his car too much... was nice anyway as we went to a part of London where I used to live and I was really shocked I still remember all the places! bf is still useless in finding his way round London :rotfl:don't see he will get any better as after all the substance abuse(nothing too hardcore, just alko and some soft stuff) large part of his brain is gone AND forgotten
so many places in London I want to go and explore more though so next time I will insist on the bus and we can walk around the nice places and jump on another bus and go elsewhere too... car trip is not the same...
I quoted some more posts earlier but they disappearedbut the 'of course Miss Lala' was hilarious! :rotfl:
cooked a soup in my slow cooker and will take some to work tomorrow :j need to carry on with my diet!
bb later!
I thought most of us mens brains were like that anyway.:rotfl:0 -
Hello Tinyshoes, welcome back xx
Thanks kadison. I have been around a bit but only just starting to get back to my normal self after catching couple of nastys from DD3 one after the other.
Just need to get a well needed hair cut and re dye my hair now for a good pick me up.
And as we are talking about hair dye, HC do you have a sainsburys near you there were some L'Oreal sublime Mousse hair colours in nice dark shades for £1.75 in my local today. Think if you get one of these you might not need to tie a bow around your head. :rotfl:
Not used this type yet (even after getting a free one last year, still under the bed somewhere!) but think they are a non-drip type because they apply as a foam.0 -

Respect! I wouldn't have the nerve, I don't think!
Thanks.
I made it nice and easy for the SA by putting all the stuff on the belt in order (looked like i had OCD) and laid my coupons down ont he other side in bunches and informed him that I'd done that so he could easily tally what I'd bought with the coupons.
I then put the stuff (still in order) in a big flat fruit box. As he picked up each bundle I showed him in the box what they were for.
He wasn't fazed at all.0 -

Now I know I had my 3 allocated multi-quotes marked but they haven't come up and I ain't up to going back and finding them, but I do know they were to talk you for your comments re my 'cluttering' - you lot are great, you know that, don't you :A :A
Today's report:
I went downto the car boot about 11 am and just wandered round talking to our friends there about Mr 3Dogs - the market manager took me into his office and gave me lots of hugs ...... that sounds so wrong ..... ok, he gave me lots of hugs and took me into his office ....well that sounds a bit better and said not to worry about anything down there and make sure that if I need anything or anything done, let him know coz he and many others down there will help all they can. Although it was hard going through the details with everyone, it was really uplifting fort he overwhelming support they all offered
I called into Mr T's and got a £40 shop using coupons and aiming for a £17 APGback ............ and then at checkout I realised I didn't have the £5 off £40 voucher with me
When I got back I spent an hour playing with Molly before putting her back in her cage to go over to the hospital. A friend had been in to see him at 2.30 and said he’d had been asleep most of the time and when he wasn't asleep he was apologising for being asleep When I got up to the ward he was sound out and didn't wake for another hour and a quarter, and when he asked me how long I'd been there and I said about an hour, he said 'you should just wake me up when you get here' - I said I did try :rotfl: :rotfl: He fell asleep again and was only awake for 10 minutes in all, and I was just going to leave when the nurse came to do his blood pressure, etc andhe woke up and stayed awake this time. The supper trolley came and he had jellyand some ice cream but wouldn't touch the soup, and he told me he'd had the same at lunch time. He also had acup of tea, with milk this time. So he is progressing in what he can eat, though he can only eat small quantities
While he was asleep, I did speak to one of the docs on duty, who agreed that it would take some time to recover from what was major surgery, and they couldn't start to think of treatment until his body had recovered. I asked about the consultants' meeting and he confirmed that the meeting of the 'Jedi Masters' would be on Thursday and then admin had to be done, but we would be told the prognosis and plan during doctors’ rounds on Friday morning. I can't really focus on anything until we have those details, so just going on as normal fornow
Anyway, he was dozing again when I left and I think he would fall asleep again, but this means he is resting and healing, so that is good. I was about 7.30 pm when I got home and after a quick play with Molly I popped along to my disabled neighbour’s with her ciggies and said I wouldn't have a cuppa with her as I just wanted to put my dressing gown on, get something to eat and rest as I was ker-nackered by then and aching all over. I’d realised when I was driving home that, not only had I not had anything to eat yet, meaning to have something at car boot cafe but not getting the chance, I had not had my morning meds either but, once I had my Rustlers chicken burger, some toast and jam, had my tablets, done some texting and spoke to a great friend on the phone, I felt so much better
Alan's first wife, the boys' Mam, rang me this morning. She'd gone through similar just 4 years ago with her second hubbie. Shortly afterward DD2 rang me to ask if his Mam could come down with him, and I said of course she can. We all get on well together and his ex and her new hubbie had often brought the boys down to stay with us after we moved down here in '85 and had even stayed with us before. DD2 said that his brother DD1 was planning to come down with his wife on Monday, staying with a friend nearby (which turned out to be in M Keynes ) whereas DD2 and his Mam were travelling down and going home in one day so were going to check trains
I have since spoken to DD1 and persuaded them not to come down till later in the week as it is pointless to come all that way, especially in one day in the case of DD2, when their Dad would be mostly asleep and probably not remember they had been, and that the end of the week would be better
Anyway, when I told Mr 3Dogs this, he said it was silly for them to rush straight down 'when it might not be months yet', meaning how long he had left
I am now supplementing my supper with a Bubbly choc bar - nice, but just an Aero bar made by Cadburys - good for free though so I am not complaining ...... and it will help my APG voucher :j :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I only had 4 coupons after mummys little hick up and I managed to use 4 coupons on the 1 thing. That was the day the SA put the SS in to staff mode for me to scan away til my heart was content.:rotfl:0 -
