Thanks.
I made it nice and easy for the SA by putting all the stuff on the belt in order (looked like i had OCD) and laid my coupons down ont he other side in bunches and informed him that I'd done that so he could easily tally what I'd bought with the coupons.
I then put the stuff (still in order) in a big flat fruit box. As he picked up each bundle I showed him in the box what they were for.
He wasn't fazed at all.
That's a good way of doing it FQ, show them how to be doing their job correctly lol!Although sometimes we prefer it when they dont know what they are doing...;)
I've never really understood why they have a problem with coupons, surely how you pay for your items is your business? As long as you have bought the items then you are not doing anything wrong and as far as we know that's the only rule Mr T has for taking coupons.
I do like to use as many as humanly possible though to see the sour look on their face!

Where are you getting your figures from for the WHS glitch? The only thread I can find mentions
i didnt get it at first and had to work it out on paper (doh!)
but if you buy a card for say £12.99....you can then buy a £15 for £10...so initial cost is £12.99....you then use the £15 gift card to buy another £2.99 card, plus a £15 giftcard for £10.....and again and again....
basically, if the greetings card costs you £3, each time you use the gift card to buy another giftcard (thats assuming Smiths allow this?? anyone know??)...you 'make £2 profit'.....so buy approx 44 cards, and you should have a giftcard of £101...or forty odd cards with £2.50 left on them...suppose this ones going to depend on the SAhoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
hmmm....now can i spare a day to spend at the tills in WHSmith trying out the gift voucher deal....spend approx £13 and get 44 cards and £101 worth of gift vouchers?
There are not enough hours in my day to print off coupons, plan shopping, go to various Ts to find stock to use coupons, then go to WHSmiths too.....what to do...what to do???
What's the WHSmith gift card thing all about then?0 -

The things you men do to show that you are still in your prime.
Another of Mr TSs feats was to juggle a glass saucepan, by throwing it spinning into the air hoping to catch it by the handle. The laws of physics should have told him the pan would not do what he wanted, not my best subject at school but I knew different. And was right, one saucepan less.0
