Has anybody had their comfort vouchers refused? I did today with the reason that they are on offer at £1 so can't be used :o(

Doesn't happen very often but it does usually say int he T&C's that its not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

You win some, you lose some, go in again to another SA and they'll be accepted. Its the nature of the game we play.

I got one of my price checks back. Did I buy the wrong Lenor Pure Care then?

    ScreenShot2012-02-26at145817.png

never mind the Lenor....why the blooming hell did you spend £4 on a Fair 10 wash - you couldve got the 28 wash Persil for £3.20 even without a coupon!!! Crazy man!! :rotfl::rotfl:
If I see another ruddy crockery set on DTD I think I'll hold an impromptu Greek party! :D

is that before or after you get them on DTD? :D
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Thanks I thought that was the case!

No, its actually called an SA knowing his/her job. Don;t get used to it though as it doesn't happen often! ;)
  • Hi sharkbait, unfortunately looks like you came aross a diligent SA as strictly speaking that is correct. Nearly all coupons state not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (this one certainly does) though by far the majority of SAs either turn a blind eye to this or are unaware/do not read the coupon. We all deliberately save the coupons until there is a good offer, so I think you were unlucky.

Best advice is not to argue, and as Smart1e says, just try them in a different store. Or next day same store different till!

Beat me to it! I'll catch up eventually lol.....actually I'll do it the quick way and skim read all happys posts! :p :rotfl:

hi everyone, good day today- took the boys to a park then went to T's @3. got a few nice chilled desserts rtc, got another 2 fairy liquids free. DH doesn't really like me building a stock pile so as we already have 4 bottles gave them to MIL, i was using her printer to print off all my SSM coupons. Also the Options glitch has been fixed by the looks of it, got more today same flavours as previous visits but discount only came off once today.:(

    Evening everyone,

Bensonsmum glad you have some more postitive news about your FIL. :)

Just a few deli whoopsies (total 73p :D) for me today while picking up my Time for Tea things from T direct. Thanks DODO I remembered to check the tea cup and saucers before I left and they are ok.

Met lovely Debsjc again and we scanned a couple of the things we had both seen cheaper in the juice/soft drink sections in other stores but scanning full price where we were today. :(

And Debs thank you very much, you know why, it's lovely. ;)

Bootsalebargains well done on your find, I thought I got that tent cheap last year when I paid around £3 instore so guessing it's gone 90% off from that price. I got the sleeping bags to match around the same price. Will keep an eye out just in case the same range is coming back this year, seeing as tent is £35 on direct.

Been a bit tied up with mum today higher dose of morphine is causing a few problems for her along with her more and more limited mobility and have had to invest in some things to make life easier let's say. It is such a shame as there is nothing wrong with her mind at all and she is finding it all very hard. She even said I will have her put in a home. Bless her it is nothing we can't cope with. :)

You are v welcome, and anyway it's me that should be thanking you. Mine is going to go perfectly with my kitchen.

Your mum is lucky to have such a caring daughter, you do an amazing job of looking after her.
  • On another note, I did a survey this morning.

Can you guess who commissioned the survey?:rotfl::rotfl:
