Good evening elite,
i would just like to thank emmlouie. nikkilala, purdita, altojack and frequent for all your helpful replies about the cheap booze in calais:D
and thanks to frequent for the link to day-tripper.net xx
me and the oh are not very big drinkers so had no clue at all last summer on our month jollies, it was only on our way back to calais that my oh was like find out where we need to go for the cheap booze lol, drove around like an idiot trying to find somewhere then went home empty handed lol but hubby has now asked me to find somewhere for when we go back at easter, kids are so excited to go back to disneylandand it's their 20th anniversary:T:T
I think i need to find some disney related dtd to save me some moneyHello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -

Although in principal i agree- the OP was treated horrendously and I hope a very fat giftcard will be on its way to them soon for the embarrassment. And a P45 for the manager!
Oh I disagree. If Tesco wish to watch us and record us when we walk in the store then we have the right to record what activities and interactions take place with ourselves in order for self protection.
Tesco of course would hate it and cry foul.....they always do! I mean lets face it they banned someone this week for buying his fuel from inside the store instead of the petrol station, and its us savvy shoppers who are at fault for their incompetent price integrity! Look at todays examples.....tesco are clearly wrong on both occasions but how can you prove it? They can't even manage to run an easter egg promotion without cocking it up yet we trust their security staff and systems to get it right??? No thank you!!!
I wouldn't however advocate people doing this willy nilly, but I might do so if I feel I'm getting toooo far above the radar in a particular store.0 -
Note to self - any glitch in future on Weight Watchers meals, leave well alone! Thankfully just finished the last 2 out of the freezer OMG they are rank:eek: how they justify charging nearly £2 each for half a potato,a slice of carrot and the "meat" from half a chicken wing in some gloopy sauce:eek: gag. How they are supposed to be a whole meal is beyond me, they wouldn't fill up a baby mouse.
I paid £1 for 8 after using a £3 coupon and I feel ripped off.:D:D
Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
Evening all!
Have been off to Cirenc3st3r, totally forgot my 'phone with my list on! Mind you I got some fantastic bargains in several charity shops (I LOVE charity shops), so very pleased!
Couple of decent-ish chilled and veg whoopsies in Cirenc3st3r and Sw1nd0n respectively. Found Hannah Montana guitar/keyboard keyrings for 75p but didn't purchase so no b/c I'm afraid.

Whenever I see a post by Laura Cello I immediately think of Limoncello Martini.
Totally delicious but perhaps not at this time of day.
I think of ice cream, there's a carte d'or one called something like stacatello..........No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Not caught up yet, so expect there are other gems from other left handers.
Your point about the mouse Wool27, is interesting. Since my Dad died last year, I've been slowly trying to get my right handed mum to use their computer (as it was Dad's "domain"!). She really struggled with clicking on the mouse, due to her fingers/hand having bad arthritis.
So, I moved it to the left of the keyboard, and with her left hand, she can use the mouse!Result!
Hi midwinter I have been through a similar scenario of teaching mum how to use dads pc sibce he sadly passed away in October 2010. as u say the pc was dads domain so mum didn't have a clue she an now log onto bank account and read emails -replying to them is the next challengeMember of the HCSC0 -
Minnie-the-Minx wrote: »Can anyone remember the name of the cough medicine that was recommended on here a while ago?
I seem to remember the general consensus was that there is only one cough medicine worth taking and it had quite a medical sounding name (ie not like Butterfly Syrup) but I can't think what it was called.
Thank you.
I don't know but the only one I ever buy is pholcodeine linctus, unless you are coughing purely because you have a dry throat, then I would buy their glycerine mixture instead, hth.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
