I must admit I never get trouted with ds's in tow as they dont wana listen to the fuss when bored ;) and they make a cracking excuse when not noticing prices as till
The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have :)
  • I've not been able to find the Wispa easter egg yet in my local T to include in my JTD, but noticed this morning that it has gone up from £2 in Asda to 3 for £10 so you would need to spend £14 in T to get £4 back JTD.

Worse thing is, we work together but he's the boss, so he'll just leg it and leave me here to work:eek:

nikki well done to Mr N but you appear to have forgotten the most basic golden rule at work - only let him think he's the boss because we all know differently, don't we...........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(sorry chaps!;))

Think most folk are struggling with the new format looking at the feedback here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3796829

Celebrate, see you have already been and given feedback - totally agree that it is going to happen whether peeps like it or not.

I think if we could post the practical aspects of what doesn't seem right on that feedback thread, then the MSE web team will try and accommodate what they can in the new upgrade - there has already been a lot of positive changes following members comments about things that need to be different.

Unfortunately my issue is less practical as I just don't like the look or "feel" of the layout and can't easily articulate exactly why!
I don't really mind it but my eyes keep wanting to "read" what should be at the left - but I would guess they have plans to put adverts or something in that space - as there is on the right,
I think it might be ok on my phone tho - I usually read all the posts but have NO idea who is posting.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

ALSO - the info is missing where we are - & I LIKE where I am
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Thats my experience too! I'm taking DD out in her pram later :D

Being addicted to glitches really does have its unsung advantages. Its great exercise running up and down all those aisles and to/from the price checker and you dont have to pay for a gym membership or for a babysitter :rotfl:

I got my best ever DTD the other day. Adidas Intense Touch 250ml Shower Gel. SEL said it was RTC at £1.12 but scanned at £2.30. So that got me DTD back of 2x£1.18=£2.36 for each one. Or put another way I got paid 6p for each one I took away (and I took away a few) :T
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
  • Is it just me?

Whenever I see a post by Laura Cello I immediately think of Limoncello Martini.

Totally delicious but perhaps not at this time of day. :)

Tesco bans grocer from store for buying gallons of vegetable oil to power his delivery van claiming it is 'illegal'

    Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2101534/Tesco-bans-grocer-store-buying-gallons-vegetable-oil-power-delivery-van-claiming-illegal.html#ixzz1mXH9SdFw

Amusing article in online Daily Mail (well, someone's gotta read it!) about a man being banned by local Mr T for buying vegetable oil to fuel his delivery van. According to staff in this particular T's (Oxford I think) it is illegal to use their veg oil for fuel!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (Sorry I am too much of a dinosaur to be able to post a link!! OO maybe I have managed the link!)
