Found three different packets for the "1005 9" illooms. Originally selling at 8p now 18p.

Green Alien illooms were 35p but when i went to get one for the little one, found there were only 4 in the packet, someone had nicked one.

Found one at top right first, then the one on the bottom left (light green) & lastly the one on the bottom right (light yellow)

Dont know about anyone else, but I absolutely hate the new look forum. They changed my supermarket recently and that is awful too.

Why fix it, if it ain't broke?

Has everyone tried the newlook Forum? Don't think I like it but presumably it's just a matter of getting used to it? Perhaps I am just getting old and don't like change!
I,m on it now doing a bit of catch up. Don't like it ! Perhaps this is my Redneck mentality coming out:rotfl:

Just for info re HC desire to visit Redneck country, the modern definition of Redneck is a bigoted, loutish person that is resistant to change. On that basis you don't have to go to the USA to see redneck country.... just go to many of the UK areas that would qualify:rotfl::rotfl:. I think I qualify for the latter part of the definition but certainly not the first two!:)

Evening guys :D Come on for a rant tonight

My brother went down to see Mam this morning till 1.45 pm and me and my sister went down from 1.55 to 6.45 pm. There had been no new bleeding and Mam was mostly the same as yesterday, still chatting and eating and drinking. The main Doctor comes round on a Tuesday after 2 pm and we sat waiting to see her as we had many questions to ask, but, when she hadn't been down to see Mam by 3.30 pm, my sis went down to ask and the nurse said she had been and gone

Being so disappointed in doc not looking in to see Mam today and speak to us, my sister hit the roof. The nurse then rang the doc and came down to tell us that doc had popped in to check Mam 'just before 2 pm' and, as no more bleeding, Mam eating well, and smiling back at her, so she felt that was enough. However we have seen lots of changes in Mam over the last two days, as her colour is changing, getting paler and possibly jaundiced, so much so that her ears look like false ears, made of wax - yellow and almost see-through; her hands have lost all colour and she is keep moving/shaking her hands/arms as if she is losing feeling in them; she is groaning in pain at times; and is talking more stuff like 'You won't let me die will you?'; plus this afternoon there was more blood from her bowels

The nurses passed on all our comments and, shortly after Mam passed more blood, they called my Sis to the phone to speak to the doctor, who apologised. She has agreed to give Mam some orimorph tonight to settle her and lesson the pain, and will review her pain-relief. She said that other doc had 'explained things to us yesterday' but she hadn't, she'd just kept nodding her head and smiling at Mam, and said that they would keep an eye on her and a check on how much blood she lost

So we feel very let down by the doctor. We know Mam is not going to get better and they can't do certain things, but keeping her comfortable and out of pain as far as possible is not too much to ask, not is keeping up informed and answering our questions :(:( It was only after all this today, that my sis got the doc to give her opinion as to what is causing the blood. We asked if it had anything to do with the 'coffee-ground' dried blood sick that she was taken in with but they wouldn't explore or treat as, in the hospital doctor's own words Mam was 'at the end of her life' - this was said to me and my sis in front of Mam, several times in the hospital - why oh why couldn't he say 'because of her age and frailty'

    Rant over :D:D

Cried over your post MKS :A and others who have or have had similar experience :A

I have caught up on the old thread so I'd better get back to catching up on the shiny new one now

Cheers FK for new thread

    Still catching up!

Sorry 3Dogs if it upset you that wasn't my intention. It was just to let you know that I understand how you feel. Totally agree with your last phrase. We were told the same in front of mum - it's not worth trying anything else as it'll be a waste as she won't last long. Like you, I felt that it could have been phrased much more tactfully. Best wishes and hugs to you, Mr 3Dogs and your family x
