(thought I could simply open a new tab- but the new look infected all the tabs I tried!)
Edit: See Martin's first post under the main bit - he replies to yorkshirelass to say they would let people opt for staying as it is. HTH!
I didn't believe clicking the link would work to go back, doesn't seem to do anything instantly, but then it does when you reload-
WHEW!:T
Like magic - thanks!
Edit - just having more a read through. I am not very techy - I guess there is a reason for the upgrade other than to just change visuals/layout? Can anyone help me with what I will be missing if I choose to stay on old-style - presume it isn't just how things are visually that is changing?0 -
Good morning Elite!
Just read back from where I left off last night and caught up.
I must confess that after saying last night that I was too scared to switch over to the new style forum, I had a peek. I'm useless with not looking if something changes. Just nosy I guess.
Don't like it. Hate the way all the info is above every post instead of neatly at the side. Every forum I've ever been part of have 'upgraded' like this, much to the disgust and dislike of the regular forum users. It's fine and 'comfy' how it is. I don't wanna change. *Stamps feet*
Changed it back to the old style again a bit sharpish!0 -

I just knew the thread will have been buzzing all day...OMG what happened at T's?!!!
I got mega confuzzled!:o:o Normally looking for OOD SELs but today they come a right cropper by the looks of it! But I couldn't work it out at all, some new SELs were up, some weren't, working in some stores not in others eeek!
I definitely could have done better but I'm happy with what I did get. I drove 57 miles in total and went to 7 T's. Found quite a few 1p items, mostly xmas haribo, fantasy mix etc but found my first bag of the veggie crisps! :rotfl:Better late than never! The only bbq food I could find was the basa fillets so I bought 9 bags of those.
Got a fab dtd on toblerone and matchmakers :T 5 Toblerone and 10 Matchmakers = paid £7.20 to take them away....receipt will be going into price check shortly, fingers crossed all being well for a £14.50 JTDMade it up to over £60 for my fuel voucher too. Also got DTD on Britney Spears Curious 100ml gift set, SEL half price £20, scans at £40 :jMum was happy when I got home :A
Wombled 13 receipts, fingers crossed! :T
Found the pink bags of Dreamies cat treats (that my doggies love!!) in Sainsbo's FINALLY! 7 bags at 10p each with 7 x 25p MOCs = £1.05 off my other shopping
Hope everyone's well especially west is best and minnie-the-minx!!:rotfl:And I'm not even goint to suggest I'll catch up cuz I know I won't, I'm cream crackered!
EDIT: Just to add....one of the stores had a sign up at CS saying that due to a technical fault and lots of misprces over the store, they would not be honouring DTD!

Good morning peeps!
OK ... I'm confused (again) already (as you know it doesn't take much).
I thought I was using the new skin but I can't see any "info" above posts only at the side???0 -
I went down to visit Mam at 11 am and the carers where just changing her and her bedding and washing her. When they came out, they said Mam had again passed loads of blood
She was very tired and, after smiling at me when I got into her room, she went to sleep. She woke up once, turning to see me, and said 'Oh, I didn't know you were there', smilled and dropped straight off to sleep again. She woke for her lunch, but struggled to eat it, and then slowly ate her pudding. I made her a cup of tea, but after eating 1 dunked biscuit, she fell asleep again. I woke her for her meds and she then fell asleep again with the nebuliser on
I just let her sleep, and she didn't wake until my brother arrived at 2 pm, when she was a little brighter, chatting a little. I left him to watch her and popped to Mr T for some normal shopping, picking up my sister to go back down there at 4 pm. Brother said Mam had been quiet and sleepy while he was there
The carers changed her about 4.30 pm and there was blood there again, not as much as in the morning, but plentyMam couldn't eat her dinner and only just managed her yoghurt, and then was saying she felt sick. She had been talking to us and giggling, but started to get confused and seeing a man standing in the doorway of her room and shouting at him to tell her who he was and what he was doing there. She yelled for her Dad too, and my brother. We talked it over with the nurse and two carers, who are worried about her, especially the lovely carer B who was upset at mam being off her food, knowing that this was serious. They are going to keep an eye on her and give her something to stop her feeling sick if she mentions it again. She kept insisting that she had to go out, to the clinic and eventually stopped saying this when we persuaded her that her appointment was for another day
She also repeatedly told us and the carers that she was going to jump out of the window
She was more or less settled when we left after 7 pm, so we hope that she would sleep again
It has been a tiring day and I ache after sitting at her bedside, leaning over to hold her hand, feed her, etc
I didn't fully catch-up last night as I started watching a film on tv rather than go back on the laptop, so I am off to do that now, as well as catch-up on today's posts
Hugs & prayers coming your way.
Stay strongI say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
