Oh wow! I had to go and look at the trailer for Mirror Mirror, I want to see it now! The horses look amazing dressed up. The Captain wore some reindeer antlers for a Christmas fancy dress party once, hardly in the same league...

He's always scoffed now and never worried where the next meal is coming from!

I've just saved the life of a mouse by being horrid to the Bear. I looked out the window and he was proudly carrying a mouse towards the cat flap:eek: I moved as fast as I could [not a pretty sight when some bits of me carry on moving after I have stopped...] and locked the cat flap. Shouted at the Bear from the kitchen window, he didn't drop the mouse, so I threw a glass of water over him :D He dropped the mouse and shot under the car as quickly as he could! The mouse ran under the car too [how stupid are mice?] So I had to run out armed with another glass of water and chucked it under the car. The Bear shot out from the other side, but without the mouse, and is now sulking on top of the fence post. I hope the mouse is okay...

He's attended a lot of fancy dress parties, he has no issues with being dressed up. In his time he's been one of the four horses of the Apocalypse, he wanted to be Famine, but was too rounded, so went as War. He's been Harry Potter's broomstick, Superhorse and a carrot [I was dressed as a rabbit]

    Hi Piq

Just popping in. Great to hear about the new plots you and your DD have dreamt up... And the stockpile in case of a world war!! Really lovely of her and very practical! ;)

I love the idea of the Captain dressed up..maybe he could be an extra..as you say Warhorse..or anything medieval!

I also like the idea of a PT letting agent...now that I can see!:T

He could only star in a Cowboys and Indians movie as an Indian's horse or a caravan pulling role. You rarely see the colourful horses winning the race or carrying the General into war. :rotfl:

    Morning!

Still trying to get myself organised which means producing another list...

    • Make some bread for lunch to go with left over soup - which, incidentally was delicious
    • Create spreadsheet for May
    • Finish finances for April and work out how much money I haven't got for May
    • Phone man about patio door
    • Respond to email about writing a food blog I applied for last week. I have a response, it's so long-winded I don't know what it's saying!
    • Twitter account
    • Ebay
    • Council Tax response
    • Filing
    • Plant some seeds
    • Apply for part-time job I have found at supermarket
    • Write plan for next book
    • Plan research for the book
    • Continue on with Captain book
    • Update blog
