I am having a surreal experience, I think I am being chatted up on e*bay....
The potential buyer of the large item who wants it couriered to the other end of the country is being very flirty. He has invited me to his model shop

Be carefula friend of mine was a regular seller on eBay, happily married for years etc. Sold an item to a lad down south who started chatting her up. They've been a couple now for 7 years! - she still lives in the house with her husband but has regular visits to motels to meet the guy from eBay who is 15 years younger than her) so watch them eBay boys! you can get into a whole heap of trouble lol (you're not married though, so you are allowed to get into trouble
) True story by the way!

So you really can buy anything on e*bay... 15 years younger? hmmm, interesting idea....
Don't think I'll be doing that. However, he has just bought the item and will now want to arrange a courier, another few emails yet to come!

Nor me! I will tell the story of how he got up there later if you like. I'm just back from the job centre and need to check my emails and sort out the Captain, who is going to be very muddy today

I stand near the entrance to the food department, the smell of freshly cooked bread was lovely. It was howling a gale and horrible squally rain kept trying to turn my umbrella inside out. It was no easier for those standing outside the job centre trying to light their last minute cigarettes either!
I had to wait this time until an advisor was free, not the one I saw last time, he who thought I might want a job with sheep. Instead I ended up seeing a woman who made me feel like I had wet myself in front of my school friends. She had the customer service skills of Darth Vader.
Conversation went like this:
Advisor: “Have you been looking for work over the past two weeks?”
Me: “Yes”
Advisor: “Where have you been looking?”
Me: “Online, Guardian Jobs, through contact network”
Advisor: “Right ok, sign here
And that was it, I waited ten minutes to see someone, the interview took approximately 45 seconds and then I left.
I had another rejection email today for a fairly junior job I applied for yesterday, not unexpected.
