    Hello!

I have just spent an enjoyable hour reading your diary and if I don't say hi I'll feel like a voyeur or something.

Your stories of Captain are hilarious. I would buy a book if he was one of the characters in it. Have you thought about e-publishing? I hear that it is gaining popularity and is easier than the traditional route. Costs are low and with a bit of creative marketing you could make some good money from it.

Failing that I have a friend who is a publisher. Her business has two arms, conventional books and ladies erotic fiction. The market for the latter is big apparently. I know it's not for everyone but of you could do it there is good money to be made...

I am job hunting too at the moment and it is a pain, I HATE having to tweak my CV here and there and fill in the flippin forms and write supporting statements. There is something soul destroying about it. But hey ho.

I'm glad ebay is going well for you, I did great on ebay last year but I burned myself out a bit and now can't bring myself to list something unless I know it'll fetch more than a tenner. That said I still have to post something that sold last week... eek, I feel negative feedback coming on :o

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hey! I don't want to be a chore, you'll start avoiding me! Not a problem, take your time. It may not be what you want anyway.

I also have a husband pet and have to admit that even after 3 1/2 years we're still in training mode.

I once had to have a chat with my manager at work because someone complained that i had expected them to actually do some work! heaven know's where i'd gotten that idea from? Makes for a good thing to say at an interview as one of your weaknesses. You know how it is where you have to turn everything into a positive.
hope you get the patio door fixed soon.

What a terrible colleague you must be, expecting people to work ;) For goodness sake, LT surely they just turned up to allow you to enjoy their company!

Hello Piggybankshaker, might have to call you Piggy, as in Miss Piggy one of my all time heroines, now she knows how be assertive and get her own way:rotfl:

Thank you for your kind comments about my Captain stories, recently I've been toying with the idea of turning the stories into either a childrens book or seeing if a horse magazine wanted him to do a column. As always I have no idea how to approach it!

On the other hand, I've heard of several people who have successfully sent off the first three or four chapters of a book to a publishing house and been told there is some interest in publishing.

Ah, the erotic novel, interesting idea....several people have suggested I should take up telephone s*x for a living. Apparently I have the voice and accent for it:eek: Allegedly, when I say something along the lines of you have been a naughty boy men get a little silly. However, I haven't noticed, most men I come across in a work environment are very silly anyway :rotfl:

God Piq...all you need is a picture of you with a riding crop and the men will get very excited I am sure .:rotfl:tell you what tho..it'd be something to recount to those twonks at the JC when they ask what you have done that week to try and get some cash..sorry a job:rotfl:

It might be worth it if only to add to your resource material around the 'JC experience' (!) for your books:rotfl:

Hope you've had a good eve

Apparently, one can earn a huge amount of dosh from that s/x thing. My cousin (who is pretty mad anyway) is seriously considering it! And why not.

Hmmm starting to sound like the oldest profession now  I think I might have to give a lot of change....

A few summers ago a friend and I from the yard went to buy ice-creams for everyone as it was a lovely day [this is not a mse story!] We went to the supermarket local to the yard.

The ice-cream cabinet was being refilled by a young lad, who, to be honest, was in the way. I did the normal excuse me and eased myself into the small space to get to goodies. I heard and ignored a squeak from the lad, then spotted that he had a several boxes of m*gnums in his cage, varying sizes. My favourite! Very excited I asked the lad can I have your m*gnums please? The large one! And I was pointing at the box not at him... He thrust a box at me mumbled help yourself and made a swift exit to another cabinet at the end of the aisle.

My friend was crying with laughter, friends are like that in my world. In between splutters she told me that I had scared him to death by asking for his large m*gnum while dressed in knee high riding boots, spurs [for another horse, not the Captain] a t-shirt that declared sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and spurs excite me all topped by a leather stetson...

I'd forgotten about that until you reminded me Mrs B!
