Sounds like you have been busy Piq - it's very satisfying to be productive isn't it?

Hi, I hope you don't mind me joining you, the Captain and Bear on your travels?
It's taken me two days but I've read the whole of your diary
I must admit I'm not an equine-y (?) person, my one and only meeting with a horse resulted in me in plaster for six weeks and having some lovely grazes to my face, legs, arms....everywhere actually :rotfl: the Captain does remind me of a horsey character in one of Jilly Coopers romps. "Arthur".
So what pets can I bring to this tribe of animal lovers? Well I have a poorly trained man pet. He was spoilt rotten by his previous owners who I secretly think were quite glad when he attached himself to me. I also have two small mini-me pets. One aged seven and one aged two. The two year old is on an intensive training course at the moment. I'm not sure who's winning the battle. :rotfl:
Oh, and there's Alvin the goldfish. He's a fancy fantail who lives in a spongebob tank in DS's bedroom. Unfortunately he's not got many funny stories but I love him.
Good luck with all the job hunting be it with sheep or accounts!

You read the whole lot?? Oh my and you're still here asking for more? There are tablets you can take you know :rotfl:
Thank you for joining us it's not entirely sane here, but I'm fairly sure that's not my fault...
I remember Arthur, he was a great character, maybe there is a bit of a likeness
A poorly trained man pet? Is there any hope for him or will you just have to put up with him as he is? I'm not sure there is a Crufts version of a man pet anywhere in the world and if there were, we wouldn't like him anyway...
Love the idea of the mini-me pets, especially the one in intensive training, you are so going to regret that :rotfl:
Our first goldfish, not something I can take on with the Bear. I'm assuming he would see it as something to take out the tank and leave somewhere you least expect it.
Please join in whenever you have the time, the more the merrier!

I've lost the mojo on the selling today. I've got a collector's item book to list and I can't be bothered - naughty...Instead I've been setting up a blog site...

Oooh, interesting. If you have some and do them well, adverts can make you money from your blog... Have you considered this?- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746

No I haven't, I don't know anything about it really. I have no idea how to get folk to read it or put ads on
All I've got is, what I think, is a good title and image and an opening line - all when I have a job application in front of me....

Okay, the application is hard to understand as it's written very badly. Highlighter pen at the ready. I won't come back until I've submitted it.

Not only have I submitted the application but I've been turned down within one minute. I spent over an hour putting the application together for a refusal from someone who couldn't possibly have read it in that time.
I have written back asking for some feedback thanking them for their swift response and asked why my application was turned down as it appeared to me that I had all the necessary skills.
And the courier hasn't turned up yet, I know they've got until 6pm, but I have a feeling....

Piq, just been catching up. Sounds like you had a great eveninglast night with your friend and the blog sounds a wonderful idea. I know nothing about blogging either, but do remember reading a thread on here sometime ago about someone who blogs for an additional income . I will have to see if I can find it again, it might be of some help. I really think its a fantastic idea, you could really keep everyone entertained.
Sorry today hasnt been so good though, the job application sounds a pain. Dont give up, theres something out there not involving those damn sheep for you I'm sure of it !
You just need a 5 book publishing deal to get the ball rolling and you will be a multi millionaire in training x
Oh....... Did the Zapper courier arrive ? I used them last week but didnt sell enough to qualify for the courier so had to trundle down to the Post Office.:(LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
