What about "Half-full Glasses and Half-mast Trousers" for a diary title :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Fortune x

You know I'd really like to forget about the hairy bum sticking out the trousers, quite horrific really, it made a matching set with the stomach hanging over the front of the trousers. Shame you have a Mr Fortune, I could have sent him over....
I have been away on Holiday since Friday and I discovered something about myself!

I am addicted to this diary:rotfl:

I had no access to the internet and was desperate to find out what was happening in the house offer saga.

It's great that you have an offer of the asking price.

I look forward to the new diary!

Strange I'd never thought of the diary as a cigarette or alcoholic beverage. An addiction..... Gottodothis we need to work on getting you a life...:rotfl::rotfl:

However Thursday is D day and the cast should come off....Just 16 weeks on crutches after that:eek:

Definitely the diary is busier than I am :rotfl:

Today I have attempted to get three quotes from conveyancing solicitors, not as easy as you might think. One's on holiday, one only communicates by email and one doesn't bother answering. I shall find another three to ask.

A four hour stint at the coffee shop flew by, a couple of the customers have given me their phone numbers to meet up for coffee, and before anyone gets over-excited they were lady customers. It's nice to be well thought of. Quite a few were over-the-top pleased to see me, meaning I always had the longest queue of customers to serve :rotfl:and couldn't get back to the counter if I went out to collect cups.

Another two dustbin sacks of stuff have hit the bin. I seem to be going round once and chucking stuff and then going back a few days later and clearing still more. A huge bag of clothes has been collected by return to earn. They paid up quite quickly into my paypal account last time and it's a way of getting a little extra cash for clothing that would have been thrown away.

I sent off five eb@y parcels on my way to work, the postage came to a staggering £29  They were quite big parcels, mainly riding boots and suchlike. Still two items yet to be paid for. I will photo a few more bits tomorrow for listing.

Mum made me £25 at the car boot sale, but managed to exhaust herself in the process. Next time I'll go with her.

Tomorrow I'm going to look round my potential new home, so feeling a bit odd about that :( Then it's the start of a week of evenings at work, not really looking forward to that, still if it's quiet I'll get some eb@ying done :D

Certainly is. Colin tarted himself all over her, completely ignoring me :rotfl:

Of course he did - he knows you love him and doesn't need to work at it!!!;)
  • Physio...with my local authority I doubt it!

If i can stand and bear some weight after the cast is off then it's 16 weeks. If I cannot then I need an op!

I'm not a tv person so reading is my only pleasure at the mo! Even that is difficult with a two year old

Gottodothis - I feel your pain. A few years ago I fell down 3 (yes only 3) steps at work, managed to do a bit of a job on my left ankle. No other injuries at all. Did it 2 days before Christmas Day too... 2 ops, 6 weeks non weight-bearing, followed by learning how to walk again, which included 12 months of physio.

And the very worse part of it all - I can no longer wear high heels!

How on earth you are coping with a little one I cannot imagine, but I'm sure if nothing else, this diary will keep you entertained and amused!

    (sorry for the mini-hi-jack)

Have a look at some online conveyancers, that's who I've been using. Most have online access so you can see what is happening. They do stuff by email and you only need to get a solicitor to sign one or two things - usually they do it for £10 cash which goes straight into the tea fund/petty cash/Xmas drinks. They don't expect you to be able to come in between 9-5 at their convenience.

Give that a go Piq, excellent :T. I usually go for collect+ as I can go to my local shop between 7.30 and 10pm. Trackable online and cheaper than Parcelforce. I price it up beforehand and only charge cost plus say 50p, if you do the same you'll probably be cheaper than competitors on ebay.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
