  • Fantastic news that you got the asking price:beer: :j I'm so so happy for you :D Do the buyers have a chain or will it be a quick-ish move do you think? (sorry if you said this my brain is still half asleep this morning :o)

As for Colin, my friend moved at the beginning of summer and she has 4 cats  she locked them in an empty bathroom and put a big sign on the door saying 'DO NOT OPEN CATS INSIDE' :rotfl: she also told the removals men too! It worked and none escaped and was free too :money:

I'm going to see if someone will have him for the day so things don't stress him out to much. He's not the bravest of cats and who knows what will happen if he doesn't have a bed to hide under.

Last time we moved house we had 3 cats to move - we shut them in a small room for a few days in new house and did the old wives thing of 'butter on paws' :) Seemed to do the trick! About 18 months later we went away for weekend - we had been away before but always had someone come in and feed them - as this was only 2 nights we put more than enough food down for them and with a cat flap they could come and go as they pleased. One cat was always the last one to reappear after being left but when it was more than 24 hours we were a bit anxious. At 48 hours we decided we would probably not see her again but 5 days later we had a call from a neighbour to say she thought she had our little black cat and sure enough it was her - looking none the worse for her 5 mile trot 'back home'. Guess she went cross country as we live in the sticks but there would have been at least one 'busy' road to cross........she never did it again:rotfl:

Colin is going to his grandma for moving day :T He will go with his smelly fleece blanket, my dressing gown and plenty of food. He will be spoilt rotten for a day whilst the rest of us work our socks off preparing his new home :rotfl:

Today I met DS3's new girlfriend, lovely girl I think we hit it off very well, she has offered to join the moving/cleaning force for the day and offer Colin counseling after the event [she is a vet!] also will supply some Feliway difusers to keep him happy before and after :T

Other than that I've been packaging up eb@y sales, today raked in £131 after most costs and last month I made an astonishing total of £300. Not bad for someone who hates eb@y so much :o Plenty more stuff to list and nearly all of it is going on at 99p

I do like the diary title of 'To infinity and beyond' Thanks gally! I agree it needs to be positive, after all this will be a brand new era.

Tomorrow is Pr£t day and I must make contact with solicitors for quotes, it's all going to be very busy.

Have decided in the spirit of decluttering and clearing to drink the wine rack down  Shame I haven't got a chocolate store....already cleared that....
