I take it that you could do the pots with different pictures?
Hope day was not too evil?

Yes I can try most designs, can't do people though! Unless it was decoupage I suppose.

    G'day Piq

I am a very happy guinea pig indeed as my lovely handmade creation from you has arrived about 10 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to share it with the rest of the piquettes.

Definitely looking forward to planting it up with a purple aster :D

    Thanks again lovely lady

So pleased you like it. It's a funny feeling sending a pot off to a friend, I've worried continually that the pot wouldn't be liked, considered a poor quality and so on. Also the appreciation of the design will always be subjective. Just because I like it doesn't mean someone else with. I worried terribly over a lily pot I did as to whether my friend would like it or not.

Not good news n the courier front I'm afraid, if it was MyHermes that you have started using I've just read on the ebay board that they are putting their prices up from £3 to £4.20 with effect from 18th June https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4648079

Still cheaper than Royal Mail but quite a hike by anyone's book :(

Now isn't that just the way of it! As you say still cheaper than Royal Mail, but....

I tried so hard to post on here yesterday. I don't know if it was the driving rain or martians but my internet connection wasn't playing

Back in 2009 I claimed ppi on my loan. The bank said it was unable to uphold my complaint but they could make me an good will offer of £750.00 I accepted and put the money against one of my debts. The loan is since paid off and forgotten about.

When I got home yesterday amongst the mail was a letter from the loan bank saying they had reviewed the way sale ppi claims were investigated and they have been unable to confirm that sufficient information was provided when I took out the policy. They are terribly sorry about this and would like to make a further offer including interest at 8% of £4,321.10 [I can't find a fainting smilie] I had to keep re-reading the letter as I couldn't believe what I was reading :rotfl:

All I have to do is fill in the form and send it off. There's a piece of paperwork I won't be putting off! and there is my new shed and gate!

I don't know what I'll do with the rest. I am tempted to pay off the smallest credit card and keep the rest aside for the moment.

On other news - I got well and truly rained on yesterday whilst gardening. However, my lovely lady who got me most my clients insisted that I take away some of her excess pots too. So I now have five lovely aged terracotta pots for planting up. A couple will hold chillies and one a pumpkin that I found hiding in the greenhouse. The others will have tobacco plants in to scent the evening air [that is if we get a warm and sunny day beforehand]

Off shortly for breakfast with Mum and Dad. I need some extra time to do my hair - I have woken with very bad bed hair, bouffant is not the word....
