So poor I can't even pay attention

Following on from MrsAtoBe's magnificent biscuit idea, what about poppy seed or sunflower seed biscuits (maybe with a pack of seeds as well)?0

Wow! Mrs A! What a trooper, you read it all? I wouldn't do that and it's my diary :rotfl:
I still miss the Bear and sometimes call poor Colin Bear, he doesn't seem to mind
The Bear's milk churn looks magnificent now, overflowing with flowers, he still has pride of place on the patio!
The Captain would love you and be kind to you, he's only a whatnot to knowitalls and sometimes men! He's almost retired now though, but happy enough with Noah.
Good idea for the pots. I must find an outlet for selling them, more on that in my diary entry in a minute!

I've signed up with the myhermes site and arranged collection of a pot. My latest guinea pig is waiting with baited breath....
It only costs 30p more for collection than driving six miles to a shop. Seems a no brainer, especially when I don't know where the shop is and could drive round for ages
As an experiment I listed a couple of pots on eb@y - no interest whatsoeverI'm going to have to look elsewhere to sell them or give up on the idea. Actually I must go and edit the postage costs that might help. As the courier is half the price of Royal Mail.
Gardening today, the weather looks very dismal, but I prefer it cooler for gardening. Last Thursday the heat really got to me and left me fit for nothing in the evening.
A tip: My garden table was looking very green and manky. I made up a paste of bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Left it on for five minutes, used a scrubbing brush and elbow grease - Looks like new!:TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hi Piq, :hello:
Were you allowed butter on your croissant, or did that send the calorie value higher than the yoghurt?
I found a variant on your 'shopping bag planters' idea which seems to work, except it's not mobile: Cut tops and bottoms off 5lt water bottles then put them into the garden with about an inch protruding from the soil. Filled with potting mix, they're easy to water without waste and the tomatoes are growing almost as I watch; am chuffed.
Hope your shift goes well today..
I didn't have butter that would have sent the calorie value flying high! It's only a once a week treat, normally I have
breakfast here at home - porridge or muesli.
That's a good idea for planters. I've seen plastic bottles used as waterers, bottoms cut off and planted spout down next to the plant. Thus ensuring the water gets to the roots.
It's gone cold here again, so my tomatoes are sulking rather than growing :rotfl:The ones in the greenhouse are happy enough, but not the ones outside!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Ebay is fickle. I may look at hermes too, I am fed up with the post office madness and the infernal queuing and whatnot
