a pot like this would be great to put it in (i'm so not artistic though so the flower bed will have to do) xx
I'll do you a bee pot for your kids if you like. I've painted up the bases for two more today, happy to send you one. Just let me know.RosiePuddingPaws wrote: »Morning
Love the bee pot!
Rather than using card (which works fine on a flat surface), you might like to look out for thin plastic sheets. You would need a good craft knife to cut the letters, but then you would be able to bend the plastic around the curve of the pot. If I hadn't just offered my last sheet to my parents for the top of their small greenhouse (don't ask!), I could have sent it to you. If they don't use it all, perhaps I could send you what is left? You would then be able to try it out to see if it would be easier.

Thank you that is very kind of you I appreciate it! I think plastic is probably the way to go for them, combined with robin's idea for measuring out the target area. I'm learning all the time!suzeesu2000 wrote: »Morning (just!) all.
Piq, please pm a postal address to me as I have just found a pile of plastic stencils which i would like to send you. There is a variety of designs including a few animal ones and some lovely letters! They are the proper flexible sheets which you can cut or use whole. I have used some but I doubt if I shall use them again. You are very welcome to them.
If you pm today, hubby will post on Monday.

I have a greenhouse!!!! hurrah!
I've just filled it with the tender plants just before it started raining.
For the princely sum of £30 and a pizza the man who can, chopped down the half dead tree/bush, dug up the roots, leveled the ground, put down membrane and gravel then put the greenhouse up. Money well spent I think.
Later I will be able to grow tomatoes, chillies and cucumbers in there. I'm very excited!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

morning all.
Piq, stencils are on the way, hubby posted this morning.
I am still itching to hear about colin cat and the harness......thought i would give this a go when we got our girl as she had never been outside in daylight before, all I can liken it to is trying to hold the cat and the hoover at the same time! The first time she saw a blackbird was hysterical - now the little tyke brings them home to play grrr.

Hi Piq,
stencils can be made easily using acetate sheets and a sharp craft knife. I have plenty of both. They are for use in photocopiers so you can copy your design onto it and then cut it out. If you would like some pm me your address and I'll get some off to you.Sealed pot challenge member number 20010 -
