Well done man and pizza and £30
Result!
Thanks for being so sweet about my gardening class! If only you were nearer - I'm developing an online 'how to' for my own reference but might be useful to some folks.
Enjoy the greenhouse, get a wee chair and put that in their too. Its good to sit and talk to them!
Hugs!
Hello to L too!
I don't know why but tomato envy is making me sniggerI currently have about twenty tomato plants of varying types. Unfortunately, Colin's enthusiasm for gardening means that he removed all the labels from the pots. I suppose it adds to the excitement of gardening...

Piq, stencils are on the way, hubby posted this morning.
I am still itching to hear about colin cat and the harness......thought i would give this a go when we got our girl as she had never been outside in daylight before, all I can liken it to is trying to hold the cat and the hoover at the same time! The first time she saw a blackbird was hysterical - now the little tyke brings them home to play grrr.

Harness story is on it's way, but not tonight I'm fast running out of evening!
Looking forward to getting the stencils!labtechlesley wrote: »Hi Piq,
stencils can be made easily using acetate sheets and a sharp craft knife. I have plenty of both. They are for use in photocopiers so you can copy your design onto it and then cut it out. If you would like some pm me your address and I'll get some off to you.
That sounds nice and simple and blindingly obviouswhich is probably why I never thought of it.... I will pm you - thank you!

Fab news about the greenhouse! Let's hope we have lots of sun now so you can grow lots of yummy/pretty things :T and fab deal on the man for £30!!! (+ the pizza :rotfl:) xxx
I don't think I will ever make lots of money!
Anyway what you have to realise is that without all of the support I have had from my friends in the box, lurkers and varying pets on my diary, I would never have started all of this. If you want a bee pot you shall have one!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Mad evening here. I agreed to do a mystery shop tomorrow, a chap called and offered me double fees if I would do one tomorrow and one Wednesday. Now tomorrow's falls in-between two gardening jobs. And Wednesday's after a long day at Pr£t. It has taken me ages to understand the requirements and even longer to pass the test to get the questionnaire....
Whilst rummaging around in papers I have actually filed some bits away and now have a smaller to-do pile, some sort of silver lining I suppose!
The greenhouse is still standing and all my pots and trays are neatly set out. The blue potting bench looks very nice next to the greenhouse too. Colin feels that the new greenhouse is obviously a new cat mansion and has moved inLuckily he's found a space without a plant, no plant is going to survive a bottom the size of Colins...
Right now I need to go and sort out my gardening stuff for tomorrow. I hope we don't get the heavy rain forecast for some of the country.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Piq..thanks for the message. VERY exciting....
We have 35 tomato plants...yes you did read right...my neighbour gave me 24 beef tomato plants to add to the ones I had already bought..Sungold my absolute absolute favourites...so we have a glut. Now I LOVE tomatoes but even so...
Unfortunately the PSB ain't doing so well. Curling up and looking unhappy. Want to save it though, I love the stuff and am anxious for it to be big enough for me to plant out in the allotment.
Have to say that it would be lovely to have your help down the allotment...any time you fancy a paid holiday in Bristol please come on down :-)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I have avoided tomatoes this year, purely because last year my one of my cats (I suspect 2 of the boys, Keith and Viktor) ate the foliage. Keith and Vik are the ones most likely to eat plants. I will go back to tomatoes once I can get a greehouse.
A very busy and hopefully lucrative time for you Piq!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Where is time going? I'm so busy, not complaining I promise!
Today is a coffee shop day so I won't be on here until this evening.
In the last couple of days I've picked up a couple of new gardening clients, meaning I'll have to work Saturdays too. In theory I could add them on to a Tuesday or Thursday but I'm not sure if my back can take it :rotfl:So I've decided to do more days but less hours, if that makes sense?
The greenhouse is still standing despite the high winds and a cat who thinks the top shelf is strong enough for his substantial weight
Incidentally, said cat has bought home the ultimate present, a stray cat  It hangs around outside calling him. Poor thing is scrawny with matted and missing fur and looks very sad. It won't let me near it. When Colin comes in for the evening I've been putting some biscuits down for it. If it's still around in a week I'll call the CPL and ask them to collect it. If it is truly a stray I'll give it a home, once they've done the flea/worm/healthcheck thing.
Having been told Colin was expelled from his foster home for being a cat bully I'm surprised that he's made a cat friend. Not that he's that friendly when I offer the stray his biscuits.....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Yes, I fancy coming to Bristol. I could make a long weekend of it. I just need to book some time off from Pr£t and find a Colin sitter, probably DS3Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
