So poor I can't even pay attention

I've had an idea it's a good idea and in time it would make money, potentially a good amount of money. Enough to live on. I don't think anyone else is doing it.
The problems are:
No money at all for set up
It would take a year to get going, two for people to realise what was in it for them
It needs land
I don't have the necessary qualifications
I'm not sure how to break down the service for charging, in fact, I'm not sure what the service is
I can't get the idea out of my head.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
Total debt today: £0 - debt and mortgage free 29th November 2013 :T

Sounds intriguing, are there any start up grants it/you would be eligible for?
How much land? Local friendly farmer lend you abit for now with a view to buying later? Is it something where the land could easily be set back to its original state?
Could family invest a small amount to help get you started?
What intervals would people require the service for/add ons/service levels?
(questions kept deliberately vague in case you want to keep it under your hat for the moment)

for how to sit on a horse at all three paces (though you're unlikely to be cantering if you tell them you've never ridden before).
You probably won't be given a mallet and a real horse together until you've had some practice swinging the mallet from a wooden horse, so don't worry too much about that.If you get run away with, grab the front of the saddle with one hand (or the neck strap if they've given you one) and lean back. Whatever you do, don't lean forwards or let your legs slide back, this is the quickest way to sliding off over the horse's shoulder.Riding uses muscles you didn't know you had and unless you're a floozy of the worst type, how shall I put this?....you may feel a little stretched..
Are you sure this is a friend and not someone who envies your thrifty lifestyle or lusts after Mr G?. It is frugalish - Groupon deal. Great. Normally they have offers like hot stone massage and afternoon tea :rotfl:.

Piq - there are loads of people with experience of running their own business on this thread and also with animal experience (taking a punt here
). Am sure they'd all be happy to advise you. As I would, except I know nothing

Piq - have to say the business idea sounds intriguing! You won't have to spend much on marketing - once you get going just put details on here, and the Piq-ettes will get the word out to the world!
Alternatively people, if Piq needs investors at 5p each.... :T0 -
Piq there used to be business link to help with start up and lots of advice how to do, get funding etc, quick search looks like it has been merged with gov but hopefully something to help?

Please do not wack the horse with the mallet if it runs off with you, drop the mallet on the ground, and follow instructions already given.......:DBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
