So poor I can't even pay attention

No, I think it's her idea of a good time. Whereas I'd always fancied a bit of a 'Pimms, picnic, floral dress, stamp divots back, chat to Prince Harry' type of polo experience
. It is frugalish - Groupon deal. Great. Normally they have offers like hot stone massage and afternoon tea :rotfl:.
I'd have hung out for the hot stone massage....

How much land? Local friendly farmer lend you abit for now with a view to buying later? Is it something where the land could easily be set back to its original state?
Could family invest a small amount to help get you started?
What intervals would people require the service for/add ons/service levels?
(questions kept deliberately vague in case you want to keep it under your hat for the moment)

Am sure they'd all be happy to advise you. As I would, except I know nothing
.
It's just an idea at the moment. I need to find someone to brainstorm it with. I'm not sure it's a viable option. It may be that it's an add-on to another business. There would certainly be set up costs involved.
I need to hammer out the idea with someone, trouble is, I don't know anyone suitable. It's to do with gardens, definitely not the weather for such things today!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Thank you. Not being a horsey person I want to get the etiquette right.

I should have confessed yesterday but forgot:o I bought some bird seed and fat balls. This morning I hung them out [safely where Colin can't get to them] I feel sorry for the birds in this weather. There have been plenty of visitors, great tits, a robin, sparrows and I think I saw a wren, can't be sure though. As far as Colin was concerned it was live cat TV at it's best. He has been entertained for hours.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

The etiquette is now correct. As it's polo you will need to scream in an upper class screech.
The hot stone massage will come in useful afterwards.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hi there Piq happy new year.
ref the idea. Memory Girl had access to 'the other side' a place for people to brainstorm ideas, without it being in the public domain. Maybe flick her a message to see if she will let you in.
I know she had access to some interesting business people so might be a plan to run it by them. YOu never know it might be the start of something big
