Cue jobsworth supervisor, who told me I couldn't pay by card and I should be more careful with my money. At this point he was nearly a dead supervisor! I did say it was an accident, I didn't know I had been given a euro in my change and I wouldn't have attempted to fraudulently buy a ticket. There was no reasoning with him

Then one of his colleagues told him he was a f*ckwit and gave me £1, saying I could pay it back to him next time I used the bus. I nearly kissed him, but I had to get on the bus!

Oh by the way the beans on toast were heavenly. I think I will have the rest of the tin with cheese and a jacket potato for dinner tomorrow. I have never grown out of beans on toast, always in the top ten of favourite food!

Mine too, something OH has never understood but something both my DC agree with. Hope you feel better today.

What a total jobsworth numpty. Glad is colleague was a nice person and managed to get you on your way
Nice for you to repay him and provide chocolate

I like cheesy beans on toast of jacket spud and in times of direness I have had them on their own! Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce or Balsamic vinegar and a different taste sensation to be had

    Hope you snuffle less soon

Actually she was Australian and as far as I'm aware we only have one Aussie on here, and I don't think it was her sadly...

I can't stop dissecting the interview, the more I think about it, the more I know where I went wrong :( I think I am very out of touch with things now. Maybe next time I'll get it right.

    G'day Piq

Wish it was me that had interviewed you then I could've given you some socks and thanked you in person for the bl00dy lovely muffin recipe :rotfl:.

Sorry for the absence have only just managed to catch up after having last week off for my grandma's funeral and the last couple of days with the parents before they went back down under and attempting to regain my sanity (what little I have lol).

Haven't managed to get up to date but saw this and figured I'd put everyone out of their curiousity but it wasn't me. I'm a lowly council administrator up in the north west and would definitely not be involved in interviewing.

Right time to continue with the catch up to see what else has happened with you all.

Hope you are feeling ok P, there are some nasty bugs out there at the mo. I am now on antibiotics to get rid of my lurgey. But I left it and left it - so take care and if it dont come right - go to the doctors.

Old chap is not entertaining the snow this year. Last year he would make snow angels but now he just stands at the gate calling to me so I caved in and he is in today. I hear tomorrow is the massive onslaught of snow too  Girls are not too bothered but I do worry about their water being frozen and we are not allowed to put hay in field but they are coming in at night to nice food and beds.

hope Captain is ok and Colin too - what does Colin think of the snow?

    Keep warm x

    Aaaaaaaaand I've caught up lol.

Cazmanian_minx  I was eating my lunch when I started to read that post and I stopped reading it very quickly otherwise it wouldn't have been pretty :o.

Piq - Forgot to say that as much as it's said try not to dissect the interview I know that you will anyway. I thought that I wouldn't get this job that I'm in as I felt the interview was really bad however I managed to beat 84 other applicants including graduates so you just never know. Fingers crossed for you that something comes up soon.

It appears that I'm also coming down with a cold. Hopefully just a cold and nothing worse, I can't have any more time off sick as I'm already having to have talks with HR about my absences. Apparently my disability is not overlooked even though that's what causes me to have so much time off. I shouldn't complain as I know in a private sector job I'd have been sacked ages ago for absence it still gets on my goat when they say here's 12 disability days a year but wait they still count as sick leave oh and when I mentioned that during pregnancy (no not yet lol) my condition can become worse the wonderful HR lady said well you never know it might cure it. She'd obviously done her homework to come up with pregnancy being the cure for a genetic condition..... whoa major rant there so sorry for hijacking :o.

Anyways rug up, banish Colin from the throw and make sure that you put the heating on.

....or Snaggles could confirm! Beanie??? Who is the mysterious Snaggles? and how many 'g's should be used? Dangers has used loads!
True Snagggles could confirm but she's not been on since the 14th. I thought beanielou might be able to confirm as she 'knows' Snaggles.
Ps the new one has three 'g's', the previous one had the two.

Piq - unless I'm very much mistaken, I think Snagggles is the same person as Snaggles. Perhaps Beanie may be able to confirm.
