Poor Piq, there are a load of people who appear normal but are ugly on the inside.

Whenever I run into one of these monsters in disguise, I always close the converation with a smaile and say "I hope you have a better day!"

How lovely, if he likes this type of exercise then perhaps you can adapt this for indoor use by blowing bubbles for him to chase? Leave him out, he has a nice house and a warm pillow and if all else fails the ability to charm himself into a neighbours house .... plus shivering is good for calorie burning (Sorry Colin that is mean isn't it?)

Snow here too, appeared after I had made it to work and parked car and been at work for about an hour - looked outside and the car park was white - how ordered the snow machine?????

The sudden snow gave me a nightmare journey to work yesterday, hope I don't have to do that again anytime soon. When I got there only two other people had turned up, but every customer and extras made it to the shop. It was horrible.

I've moved out of the office and onto the sofa with throw and cat, it's too cold to sit working on the computer [or hanging round mse :rotfl:]

I've been contacted by an agency about a job that is everywhere on the job sites. They want to put me forward as a candidate :T I've said yes, but want to tweak my cv for the job first. That's what I'm going to do next. Provided, of course, that Colin stops trying to sit on the laptop - sigh....

After which I will go and ride the Captain or not depending on the amount of ice on the ground. There is an indoor school, but the path to it can be treacherous.

I've managed three NSDs on the trot, but do need to buy milk and eggs today. I have a horrible feeling I need petrol too, don't want to run too low in the current weather.

Oh Piq winter wonderland of riding, I am always amazed at the number of people who don't grit for horses on yards then wonder why the poor darlings slip and get niggy about going out.

Hope Colin shares the computer with you so you can get the CV done.
Right back to work now I think.

Oh how I loved the Colin story and then next came the nice man in the mini, only to be followed by a very angry Piquant. Wouldn't I have loved to be a fly on the wall when you had your rant.

    Hi Piq

Fingers and toes crossed for the job..hope you get through

And massive well done for taking the supermarket guy to task...I do think that a strong reasoned complaint backed up by evidence to the people who make decisions is one we should all do more often when we see a problem, get bad service etc. All too often its shop floor staff who get the 'kicking' and grumbles when actually we should be shaming Chief Execs etc..(I suspect that 4tarbucks have changed their tune on their tax bill for that sole reason..am not sure it was the MPs arguments at the accounts committee that did it!)

I am currently complaining about something to do with local roads (so not a sm but you know what I mean) and getting progress..all through the power of Tw!tter..funny how when something goes public they get a bit more keen to help and resolve!

Have a good day tomorrow..it's well parky here in the West Country..hope we don't get snow..haven't got the energy for delays and more hassle!
