Cake sorry to hear about Catto
Hope horsey likes the boarding school, getting another trainer in for mine as she is at that stroppy toddler stage and is pushing her luck so seeing if a different approach will help

Cake - Sorry to hear about Catto, I know how you are feeling lost my Katy in Aug. I find it does help havng them buried in the garden and being able to put a tree or plants on the grave. I'm still looking for a nice memorial stone or plaque.0

If it does turn out you owe them money make sure you use the words "financial hardship" when negotiating repayment.
Take care

Yes it is. Also my payslips have been incorrectly done and Pr£t have put me down for 16 hours a week, meaning the mortage claim has been stopped. The manager wrote a letter to them correcting it but it means I'm even shorter of money at the moment.
I bought some n!tol today, I haven't slept for the last two nights and feel pretty ropey. I think I'm going down with something as I had that burning body heat, no sweat, but couldn't stop shivering last night. I think I've the start of a sore throat too, a cold in the offing, no doubt!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I got a flat stone and made my own template with a font I liked in Word. Cut it out on the chopping board with a cheap artist's scapel. Then daubed acrylic paint on the stencil. It looks lovely and cost very little to do. I could send you a photo if you like. The Striped One (caps. please!!!) is Catto's brother ... a.k.a. Boodle.
So sorry!A wave from colin to The Striped One

Hello Cake - so sorry to hear about Catto, its so hard when the time comes. Take care of yourself and have a hug or two X0

Hi Piq, sorry to hear about your money stresses, its so hard when something like that comes out of the blue. I too have found HMRC helpful on the phone so might be worth a try if you feel up to it.
Colin sounds like quite a character and a handful. Have you got used to calling his name yet? Our first cat ever was named 'baby' by my OH and he REALLY hadn't thought it through. When Baby went missing I was the one going round the streets of London shouting 'Baby' and all the while expecting to be surrounded by midwives or paramedics!! Sadly Baby disappeared, she was very gorgeous with beautiful markings so we suspected someone probably made off with her :-(
Hope you get some sleep X0 -
Thanks to all for your kind messages. The Striped One is a bit clingy, but otherwise we are OK. The trainer hopes to sit on my horse next week, reports are all being very positive so far, and he is not being too noisy either. (He does like to have a bit of a shout just to make sure that everyone knows he's a BOY!)
Piq, so sorry to hear of your money worries and impending cold - bad combination. Hope both resolve soonest, sleep well.0
