Hi P I just got hit with a "you owe us £60 tax for your Private Health Insurance" for last tax year :( I get it through work, they pay for it all but we pay an excess. Speaking of I owe £100 excess for my physio sessions but no one has said anything, hmm to ring or to wait.

Hope they've adjusted my tax code for this year so I don't owe again, they did say they'd take the £60 from this years salary too. boo to them.

Mine's for £133  but I shall be querying it as it says I've been receiving it from two companies. I left the company that I got the benefit from over three years ago and it was one company not two!

I'd wait until asked for the £100, until requested it's not a crime to hang on to your money for as long as possible!

Any thing your company provides as a benefit , is taxable as a benefit in kind

I don't work for a company that gives any benefits. I think it might be an error as I haven't earned even enough to pay taxes on. I will write a letter tomorrow to find out where their information has come from.

Not quite what I had in mind :rotfl::rotfl:I was doing the, what I hoped was invisible, run to the bin before collection. Too lazy to walk to the poop bin later :o

Incidentally, colin is now going outside for a few hours every day and is far more laid back and less nervous, however, he still comes back to do his business indoors in his litter tray ;) To be honest, I was hoping he'd do it outside....

Shame about the cold, plenty of rest and water is my prescription for you.

Keeping animals seems to involve so much of it, doesn't it? Have never been able to work out why we, as the supposedly superior animals, scoop theirs but they don't clear up after us???
I have had a medicinal whisky tonight as I felt exhausted and chilled through. OH has buried catto here in the garden, and The Striped One and I have had lots of cuddles. Onwards and upwards, and love all round. Huge thanks for all your kind messages, it helps a lot. xxx

I have found having the Bear in the garden has made me happy in a perverse sort of way. He is still with me and I chat to him whilst going about reclaiming the garden and pegging out washing. I hope having Catto in your garden helps you too.

    Who is the striped one?

I am having a medicinal drink too, just because I am so very worried about money at the moment and I thought it might help me sleep.

Is it the tax thing worrying you Piq? They really are pants  HMRC haven't got Mr F's tax right for the last 7 years. I'm sure they've miscalculated your situation. If it does turn out you owe them money make sure you use the words "financial hardship" when negotiating repayment.

    Take care
