Morning, playing ponies is the best fun, who cares about your age, we used to do stupid things out hacking like really long dresssage stirrups and then jockey style stirrups, then bareback and racing between bushes :D

Darling BB we would have been swimming between bushes here at the moment! We hijacked the indoor school and made an obstacle course in the dry! Used to do it all bare-back but not that brave any longer as the Captain is as mad as ever and still races round the cones on two hooves

    Morning P and Friends

I love playing about games on the ponies too. The yard I am at now has lots of kids and they often do fun stuff. We also play at who can walk the fastest, who can trot the slowest, how few / many canter strides you can get in between fence post :D

Overcast here and quite chilly actually - ridiculous - it just cant make up its mind!

Hugs and kisses for you, Bear and of course darling Captain! I am sure he is your rock in a way at the moment. I know when I feel down my horses always make me smile x

He is my rock. I melt as I see his black and white face over his door just looking at me. As I walk towards him there is no-one else in his world but me. Heaven help the door if someone stops me to say hello! There is a lot of half tonne kicking going on to attract my attention back to him.

Well my my what a rude little man! I would have been so tempted to turn around and say very sweetly "I know we are all stressed with the mad rush as there are so few of us but it's nicer when we are polite to each other" whilst carrying on doing the job. And if he repeated some such nonsense I would say "Sorry you feel that way, but you are upsetting me by calling me names which is not nice for the customers to see" and again carry on.

Love to Captain - I know all about getting wet this weekend - I seem to have chased the rain!

I will tell him one day, hopefully soon and boy, will I enjoy it! It's not like I'll be asking for references or ever buying a plant from there.

You didn't have to chase the rain over here :rotfl:

Now both of you are lovely feisty girls and stood up for yourselves quite brilliantly. Don't worry about me, I can stand and be counted with the best of them and one day soon I will tell them exactly where they're going wrong and walk out the door, but not until I can properly support the Captain and the Bear.

    Piq

Now why can't you be my manager calling me a lovely feisty girl, these days I just get called blunt and bolshy and to not speak to other staff members as I upset them :o. I don't mean to upset somebody but when it's a case of telling someone to double click in a box and they press enter twice instead you do get rather miffed to say the least.

Plus as told before, I do not suffer fools gladly. Hopefully this will give you a giggle but husbandpet and I had a falling out this morning over the way that I parked the car, it involved him telling me that I'd parked wrong and that I should move it (he can't drive!!). I had parked on a corner was well within the lines and had my [STRIKE]spaz[/STRIKE] blue badge displayed, so to prove a point I dutifully got back in the car moved it a metre backwards and then got out and told him that metal doesn't bend so I can't park closer to the curb around a corner and that it doesn't matter as I'm well within the lines, oh and you can't drive so you can't have an opinion :rotfl::o He didn't take it too well but hopefully he will have forgotten by the end of the day.

Maybe I am too cruel to be around other people

Oh gosh me too NewLeaf! I am quite envious of all this horsey love.

On Sunday I promised DD that we'll get a pony in 2 years time. So, I need to get my a**e in gear sharpish!

Piquant, without putting too fine a point on it your boss sounds like a bit of a door handle. Focus on the money and the weight loss, and imagine the moment when you tell him to insert his job somewhere dark and smelly.

    G'day!!

Love the car parking story :rotfl:especially the advice from a man who can't drive :rotfl:

Blunt and honest is not the same as cruel. Most folk appreciate honesty as long as it's tempered with a bit of kindness and yours always is. You carry on my Aussie friend!

We'll have a day out and you can all come and ride the Captain, he'll demand to be stuffed with carrots but I don't think any of you will have a problem with that :rotfl:
