Evening everyone.
Well i have just done a new nighttime routine with dd as we are so fed up of her being in our bed, and for the first time in i dont know how long she is tucked up fast asleep in her OWN bed!!!!:j And she took the new routine great, iv found bathing her at nighttime wakes her up, so we tried the wash hands and face, brush her hair, clean her teeth, 10 minutes cuddle with dad, then told her it was storytime, i read to her for all of 10 mins in her bed and she was fast asleep.Although getting down from a high sleeper gracfully and without waking her is not easy!!LOL:rotfl: :rotfl:
DS3 lost his cup match this morning 1-0, but it was a good game. Tommorow is ds1 footy leauge match against our biggest `enemy` team, lots of kids go to the same school within the teams and it always makes for a tough battle. But gives me a great chance to scream louder than normal, if this is at all possible!;)
Not much os done today, made hm pizzas for tea, went to buy fish food, and news trainers for kids. Now just starting to settle down, waiting for step-son to be collected then will be in front of tv for rest of evening.
Have a great night all

Managed to get a car for £200 under budget very please with it full service history, long MOT and 6 months tax. Just trying to find the cheapest insurance now. DD was an angel considering we have dragged her round half of the north west of england today. Shes gone to bed and Dh has gone to get a takeaway as I exhausted. Tea and then an early night I think
See you tomorrowSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Evening All
Am now up to date with the thread.
Not done much today, friend took DS football training. DD has done all her homework. I hoovered and cooked dinner & thats it. Have sat on my (ample) bum and watch telly and read all day. Am now feeling nice and restful so hopefully will have lots of energy to get on with some stuff tomorrow.
Need to go to Asda for a couple of bits and take puppy for a walk then will be mainly ironing tomorrow. Also need to use my Kenwood Chef which has now arrived - will decide what cake to make in the morning but it will probably be chocolate!
Off now to do some more readying, enjoy the rest of the weekend.0 -
 Just sent son to bed for what seems like the 100th time tonight, OS wise not done bad, cookies (most been eaten already) bread, banana cake, cherry and chocolate muffins all made today. Just blanching some carrots to freeze as I got a big bag cheap this week and won't use them all. Was going to get the ham shank out to do a broth but just realised I forgot to buy broth mix  oh darn it! I'll get some tomorrow. Did chop my thumb on apple slicer (didn't think about it being sharp when piece got stuck) but other than that no disasters
DP away at 5am tomorrow so he's gone to bed, thankfully he'll be taking the stuff that has been dumped in the kitchen since Thursday  with him :j
Oh I seem to be full of cross faces today, I think I just need some wind down time, DP annoyed me earlier as I'd just done kids a bath so I could get them to bed, he came in and he said they could play on the Megadrive. So I thought stuff it and jumped in instead :rotfl: Enjoyed it and just bathed them after.
I've also ordered myself a mini sewing machine today, I know not as good as the big ones, but haven't touched a sewing machine since I was about 12 years old. So thought would have a go, we have a stack of items they need repairing and my hand sewing is very BAD and my Mam's been too busy lately to do it
Shirleypark have you tried soda crystals on the moss? I haven't tried it yet but supposed to work well
Joannasmum sounds like you got yourself a good deal, good luck with insurance
One day I might be more organised...........

Made a huge tray of lasagne for tea which everyone really enjoyed and now all the dishes are in the dishwasher.
Popped out to get veg for tomorrow's Sunday lunch and dried peas are soaking as DH loves them.
Just spent a few hours on the computer and have only gone on here now to say hello to everyone."This site is addictive!"

I know its my 30th but trying to be sensible with the money, i would have normally thrown a huge party at mine but have decided to limit partys this year to bbqs in summer and bonfire night, oh and halloween party iv promised kids this year, oh and new year eve!!!LOLProud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
phew what a day!
2yoDgs loved the adventure play thingy - the only mishap was where he tried to climb up the slide as another kid was sliding down. both kids clashed teeth and stared at each other menacingly while five other kids slid down on top of them. 10yo dd had to wade through the ball pond and disentangle all the kids while i apoligised to the other parents and nanas - he's asleep on the sofa now - bless
Couldn't be bothered to cook properly so the kids have had pizza and garlic bread from aldi for tea. I have fallen off the veggie wagon which is causing dd to give me her "poor baby baa-lambs" look but i have been craaaaaaaving meat for a long time and that pork chop i had last night was goooooooood! I will probably continue to cook veggie except for Daddy Weekends. She has asked me to promise not to eat a "scabby" (her word for anything battered) sausage in front of her as she may be tempted.
Her surgery being brought forward next week have really messed up all my half term childcare plans as loads of friends and family were having her over the week and were so dissapointed that she would not be coming that i have had to rejig and have her spending half days here there and everywhere. Her life is a social whirl which is in direct contrast to mine
I also have the added difficulty of having no transport home from the hospital unless exdh can rejig his day off
Well I should be catching up with housework, baking and packing various overnight bags for dd but I think i'll drink some more of my barely drinkable hm wine instead
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
No haven't tried them yet, if the weather is ok tomorrow I'll take a walk to wilkinsons and see if they have some, I think they do.lil_me wrote:
