    Hi guys :hello:

Wow, what a lot of thanks for pp and me! :oIt's an absolute pleasure of course, I love this thread _party_ and hearing about what everyone's up to, long may it continue!

Thanks everyone glad to know this challenge is helpful to other people as I know without it I would go off the spending rails.

Chris I hope I don't get lost in an internet black hole that sounds scary:eek:

I am going to try and keep posting on the thread as even if I don't have computer access I will still have access on my phone which is fine to do small updates. So LC can you put me down for £50? I really have no idea how this week will pan out but I suspect there maybe some takeways:cool:
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • EEEeek. Just did an extra shop on top of what I had in, so that I can make up dishes to take into work during the week... I had set myself a £10 limit this week and when I got to the cash point it was £9.99!!! LOL!

So i have 1p to see me through until Friday after work... Now - I musn't go mad and spend it all at once!

    :)

Oh, goodness, abundant1972 you're not the only one! Whilst I do have more than a penny to last me the week I've had a spendy day for one that I was planning not to go out!

However, a good portion of it was into my presents budget as I wanted to get slightly more stuff than the now-empty pot allowed this month, so that was ok. On the upside, Mother's Day is completely bought and paid for, and Easter nearly is. But I was naughty and bought some Dairy Milk for £1 for ME ALL ME!!! VERY naughty! (cigs too...ho hum and bum...)

On the upside, when I got home last night, my We'll Eat Again recipe book had arrived! It's BRILL! I'm so please I bought it, some interesting and frugal recipes in there and mostly nutritious so I'm really pleased with that.

Sun 12 Feb: £3.40 Cigs, £4.38 Hobby Craft towards Presents budget and £1 CHOCOLATE yum yummy yum... total for day £8.78
Mon 13 Feb: Parking at OU (first tutorial of new course)
Tue 14 Feb: NSD for challenge (haircut from Hair budget)
Wed 15 Feb: NSD for challenge? Workshop in evening (small fresh shop from Week 3 Food budget)
Thu 16 Feb: NSD for challenge
Fri 17 Feb: No plans yet...

    Total so far: £8.78 / £20

    Not the best start...

Hello everyone, could I join in on this challenge please? I have been setting myself a £10 target over the last couple of weeks and have been under by £5 a week so very pleased! I had just been doing this on my own but it's much more fun to join a proper challenge.

This week as it is half term I have set myself a budget of £25 plus the £6 left in my purse from last week, so £31. I really hope I don't spend it all!
