Now have £13.69 left for the week.
This is the first week I've done this, and Its really making me see where I spend and how much I usually would spend without thinking. So far I have spent £16.31 out of £30.
Still here..... but working on that!

Morning all, spent £6.30 yesterday on cinema and parking. DH and I had agreed no cards no flowers etc to save money, made him some tiffin from the GC recipe collection which he prob enjoyed more than a silly token present.

Planning NSD today, good luck all!

  • Am off to Cardiff today so £11.75 for the train tickets, which wasn't allocated in this week's budget. My friend, her DD and my DD are going prom dress shopping so that should be fun.:j It's DDs birthday on Friday so whilst there will buy 2 boxes of Kris*py Kreem donuts for her birthday, but that is allocated from another budget, so no spend there. :D It just all depends what DD tucks me up for whilst shopping that worries me - know there will be a lunch, so will try and keep it to that.:D

Well my 1p got blown lol... Am 65p over budget... but... it was spent buying a few treats for someone who bought something off me on Amazon... so I should get a return from that...

Question: Am expecting a cheque from Music Magpie this week :-) so even though I have gone over - does that negate my overspend and make it an ORANGE week? Here's hoping!!!

Just made a job lot of Spanish Barley... so that was dinner tonight sorted... and lunch tomorrow... and dinner tomorrow night... ha ha!!! :-O

Keep up the good work everyone!!! And even if you have gone over... keep other spends to a minimum... and that's extra cash potentially going off your debts!!! Good luck everyone!!! xxx

  • Well am now back from Cardiff and had a great day! :D Got £39 refund for a bag I took back, so bought a new top for DS and one for myself so that wiped out the refund of the £39. Only other spend over what I thought was £16.90 for a top for DD so not too bad - could have been a lot worse.:j Am over budget, but at least it is damage limitation. Am quite pleased with that as could have been alot worse:D

  • As I suspected - I've just totalled everything up and I'm already over budget and it's only Thursday. On Monday I spent another £29.86 taking me to £51.02. I have actually spent more, but from other pots (groceries and hairdressing), but I have another 2 days before I declare so it's all about damage limitation now.
