Aww, has the thread come to an end? I've only just read it, and it's the best one I've seen in ages. The ins and outs of it went over my head, but the humour was brilliant.
It's like reading a potential script for yet another soap! :rotfl:

You think stuff like this never happened before facebook? :rotfl:

Facebook makes it FAR easier for things like this to happen. It always sounds like more trouble than its worth. Glad i dont use it!
  • You are my cynical hero! I also suspect you're dead right :D

I agree. I would never go on it. My 2 daughters do, and it seems now to be all about 'someone has seen something that someone else has put about them' or 'someone finds out that something that was said privately to someone has put it on facebook,' and so on and so on.

OH's step-brother has fallen out with the whole family, blocked everyone from FB, told us basically that he didn't need any of us and him, his gf and her son is all that he needs.

    Then leave it at that.

If you want to try to resolve things, your OH should speak to his step-brother.

    Wow!

And now, thanks to Jojo, I have remembered that any thread started by a newbie, involving complex family situations, is best read with a bucket of popcorn!

    A soap opera scenario indeed!
