    Crazychik,

I'd forgotten that you were a relatively new addition to Old Style :D

There was a very funny and quite long discussion on the Daily Thread last August about Hardup Hester's little telephone job :D - and THIS is probably a good place to start reading it :D (just keep reading through the couple of pages following on from it!)

Edited to add: and the juiciest details are in this post and this post if you don't have time to flick through the whole lot ;)

Well another good day. Had an awkward meeting with a client, but made up for by a very good training session, even though I had to get up at 6.
My fingers were still aching from typing crazychik advice on what to do in London.
OH is cooking a surprise tonight, and tomorrow is a day of debauchery in the Kings Road and the West End.

   :rotfl:    I was away all August so missed this. Boy I've lead such a sheltered life (until now) Can stardrops remove disturbing images your minds eye?:rotfl:

I've got this image of a brushed cotton clad matriach puffing and panting, treadling away on an old singer whilst dealing with some randy old goat on the phone. Keep up the steady rhythm there...BOTH OF YOU .LOL

Mrs MATH will probably stop me logging onto OS now. LOL

    What an afternoon!!!
I did manage to get the cake made and it looks yummy - but then butter + sugar = yummy no matter what ;)
MSE forums have been closed for what seems like an eternity - but the PC bugs didn't end there.... I typed up a good page of my case study and was going full flow when.... 'Microsoft error.. blah blah... you may lose all your work....'
It was horrid - all gone, and can't open the temp files because they are 'corrupted' :( A bit of a strange thing that mind.... the last time that happened to me was when I was on a college course a couple of years ago... the one I've just applied to try again!!!!
On top of that was feeling a bit bad earlier about that time when I had to pull DS2 out of that band (don't know if anyone remembers) - and then when he got home he showed me a nasty email they'd sent one of his friends about him. A real coincidence as it's not been mentioned for about 2 months!

Shez - if you do come to Wales I hope you might find time for a meet. If you do come over do let me know if there's anything I can do to help (eg places to visit etc). As for college it's well worth investigating. I started lookin into it a few years before I started - I needed time to 'warm up' to it IYKWIM. It doesn't harm to make enquiries - and you can pull out at any point.
Our college has a website, and I'd imagine most do, so perhaps worth a quick search to see what was available this year? Same goes for you Moggins if you're reading ;)
Right, got HM pizza and HM potato wedges in the oven and they 'smell done'...
    Have a good evening all,

Hugs aplenty to those in need, in fact hugs to everyone!!!:D

    Hi there everyone,

Not nice here today - cold, drizzly and dark. I had a good day at work today and I now have the weekend off, so maybe a tinny or two tonight.

I had all my hair chopped off this afternoon, getting to the hairdressers is a problem timewise and financially wise and I finally found a mobile hairdresser who's done it for £5.00.:j :j :j

We have been to the local butcher who does much nicer meat than any of the supermarkets and got some neck of lamb and pork chops and we have used some of the lamb to make a big pan of stew which will keep us going over the weekend.

I have to do an online shop tonight and when the little darlings have gone to bed I will check the cupboards and organise this.

AND......... I never got that blooming sewing done. SMOKY MUST TRY HARDER NEXT WEEK, SMOKY MUST TRY HARDER NEXT WEEK.;)

I am, currently spending far too much time on the weffriddles as found in the MSA and having to excersise my brain far more than I have done in years.........:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well I'm off see you all tomorrow

I have just tried to post and it has totally gone. Sorry too tired to try again mentioning all. 2 days at DDs wonderful but DGS didn't quite realise granny still not very well! Seriously worried. DD has just gone broadband. First Tesco on line went fine last night apart from bananas which were squashed and split. But ... she is now seriously addicted to e-bay! I set her up with her Paypal account today and she is bidding on so many Thomas things it is scary. DSIL will have to sort her out!

Bought loads of stuff for new baby yesterday at Livingston. Well, will let you into a secret. It is another boy! At least we know who we are buying for and got lovely cool summer rompers yesterday. I don't care. I just want healthy grandchildren! They are just so special. DD 20 weeks preg today and I saw the scan pictures yesterday - a tearful moment! Now three and still very emotional. And I felt him kick last night!

Love and hugs from all from a rather tired GB.
