    Evening all,

Hugs to those hat need them, especially crazychik and anniestar

I have my forklift licence test on Monday  Had a bit of a play with it this afternoon its quite simple, so hopefully I will pass. Apparently, you just retake the test until you pass (as the guy will be here for 2 days). There is a competition going, the person who loses the most points buys the drinks all evening...so I really hope it isn't me!

Tonight, I NEED to finish my meal plan/shopping list and do the ironing. I want to go to the market/butcher tomorrow morning and change the bed at some point too. It's hard fitting everything around work.

Hope you have a good evening

I had a very dear friend loose her baby post 40 weeks in early December - very traumatic. I am sure all will be OK. DD pregrant with no 3 and 20 weeks - I can't help but worry as I had very big pregnancy probs with her and her brother!! I was in serious trouble 28 weeks on preggie but at the end of it two wonderful children! DD went into shock post labour DGS2 so a bit worried when she has DGS3. Granny Broon will be on call but you still worry so much about children, never mind the grandchildren!

hugs grannybroon Im sure things will be fine, and knowing the history, they will keep close eye on her! Sorry about your friend also.

Ive got mega headache & feel very sick after today's saga. But nothing we can do at present about the situation. I think the first point of call would be to write her a letter, requesting access, appeal against her better nature ! Yer right thats a joke, but at least we've tried, then it will be an appt for legal advise.

    Hello
Wishing you all the best Crazychik. Just a quicknote before I start to chill out, I am working tomorrow which means 5.45 wake-up call. My shift at the hostel starts 8.00, luckily I only work weekends...:p.
My mother is visiting us from Finland, which is lovely and also means no housework for me since she insist on taking over ( not that I'm resisting..). OH and I are also taking an advantage of her babysitting skills, hurrah.;)

    Have a great weekend.

Good Evening, this is a record lately - only just switched on the pooter, a complete break from it today.

Hope everyone is well - will read posts in a bit if I'm still awake.

Spent all day sorting out our finances, including seeing the financial advisor but the good news is if we change our lifestyle just a little I can retire in 18 months time. Especially if I get part time job - eg earning what I need to earn, rather than what I can:D

With two teens at uni now and a DS2 who is obsessed with saving the planet by watching everything off and having the quickest showers ever I was a bit disappointed to find out fuel usage has gone up:mad: both gas and electric:mad:I suppose this is because DH has been ill and off work and now working part time so heating is on during the day 5 days instead of 2.

Learned today that my dear neighbour of 23 years has decided to go into a nursing home, aged 89 but still quite spritely. She was finding it lonely after her DH died last autumn. Being 1 1/2 miles from the nearest bus stop and further from the shops is no fun when old.

Things used from freezer today - fish, pastry, peppers, tomato, ice lolly, 3 sausages, tea cakes = big space

    Good night
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me

Crazychik- ((hugs)) sorry to hear that, must be an awful situation for both your OH and you, aswell as the little one who has been put through this. I hope he manages to get to see him and the whole situation can be resolved, for the little lads sake if nothing else. No wonder you have a headache, give yourself some 'me' time and give your OH a hug from us, sure he'll need one right now aswell :)

great news about the finances/retiring :D

Just had someone scare the life out of me, neighbours daughter came round to borrow some milk as her Grandpa needs to take tablets with it and her brother had just swigged the last of it, last time someone came round this late my mate had been in a bad accident and someone came round to tell me. Scared the hell out of me. My hearts still going 10 to the dozen! I think I need to relax more & stop fearing the worst all the time!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

Sorry you are feeling a bit poor tonight - understandable sweatheart. Just hang in there. You are doing great as DH - give him plenty of support too!

Kyle - no reason for ELC closure that we could find out - presumably because of outlet maybe making less money over rental. We bought loads but maybe still not profitable! Sorry sweatheart, vouchers will be used mainstream ELC as we need loads of stuff! Hope you are OK after the last couple of days!

    Love to your Mum, Twink

You will be fine, just think you were doing a good deed! At least the neighbour called round and felt they could come to you!

    Take care.
