Netflix feedback discussion

As a follow up to above, I called Netflix (only had to wait a minute in a que), they said they know about problems with some vouchers sent out last night. They have promised to send me a new voucher AND extend my free Netflix trial period by 3 months (so now I'll be getting free Netflix for 6 months - can't be bad!).

I called again to check what's happening, and they said they're aware of the problem and will be issuing codes in the next week. I wasn't offered 3 months free like the poster above, but the advisor said they were giving everyone affected 1 month free. She applied it there and then after taking my email address, so it's probably worth giving them a call to make sure they update your account.

Good news! I'm not sure whether this will apply to all customers, however I should get an update from Netflix soon (time difference means they're just starting work), so will post on here when I know more.

If you want to use your netflix using the USA site you can.

Goto http://www.unblock-us.com/ and signup for the week trial.

Just update your DNS settings to

http://www.unblock-us.com/how-to-set-up/

Then you get to view the US site which has ALL the UK stuff and more.

BTW after the week the dns still works on apple tv and ps3 etc.

you have no need to sign up to anything for the ps3,360,WII,WD TV,probably Apple TV
you can manually edit the DNS.......

cool, i been using the us netflix for over 6 months now. do you know if you use the dns on the router and will that work? cos when i cancelled it a few months ago it redirected my ie to the signup page.
