I've just signed up for Netflix rather than Lovefilm because Netflix works through the Wii.. I'm really shocked by how few films and programmes there are actually!
Many of the shows turn up in three or more categories, so there's far less than it initially appears.. it's like a video shop that's about to close down and hasn't bought any new stock for ages...
It will do us for the month but I'll cancel then.. with more content I'd be more than happy to pay 6 quid a month, but as it stands....

Does anyone know how often they change content? That could entice me to stay.. and more up to date stuff..

Haven't tried my code yet, email arrived tonight. Even it it's a thrid party who are sending out the codes (no doubt a 3rd party marketing company) I would have thought the codes need to be uploaded to M&S IT system in order for them to be recognised, either that or they needed to be generated by M&S first. Possibility they just haven't been uploaded?

That's what I thought, to be fair I was straight on the M&S site as soon as it arrived, and I thought maybe it just takes time to kick in. But as you say, you'd think M&S would know that and pass the info on, as they must be involved somewhere down the line.

My gift voucher worked OK, but I had to delete the 'dashes' they inserted into the long number, in order for it to be recognised.
Treated myself to two cheesecakes, to be collected in a week :-)

This is my first post on here, just a quick note to let folk know that the M&S voucher code I got from my Netflix trial seemed to not be working- until I removed the hyphens that is :

so

1257-1525-1152-2353

became

1257152511522353

and it worked!

Hope that helps someone avoid trying repeatedly before almost phoning Netflix (who seem to have a 24 hour customer service line, an 0800 number too!)

Hi everyone,

Netflix has been in touch to say it is aware there is a problem with the gift voucher codes that went out yesterday. It is looking into it and have said they will resend them tomorrow (Fri 24 Feb). If you have any further issues, please contact Netflix.

I got the £8 voucher, and tried to use it, with and without the dashes, but still got told it is invalid.
