unofficially yes
if you are using consoles etc
change the DNS settins to
Primary DNS 208.122.23.22
Secondary DNS 208.122.23.23
on the PC,you need to make it seem like you ar in the states through your IP
how are you looking ot use netflix?0 -
If you use a VPN proxy (to make websites think you are in other countries) for example America.. you get access to a lot more content... and newer too! but shhh I shouldn't be telling you this!
You can download a free program called Hotspotshield and make sure it the privacy is ON.. (the green light in bottom right corner of pc) it changes your ip address to an american one! It is ad-supported though..and has ad at top of screen when using it but great service.
If you don't like ads and want to pay for a better VPN service.. try HMA Pro VPN or Strong VPN. With these services you pay a couple of pounds a month to have access to their servers in other countries, so you can change your ip address to a different country (eg. USA) and watch a lot of content that is geoblocked (blocked if you are not in the right country. For example, you cannot watch iplayer if outside UK but you can with a VPN. Same with the USA, I watch a lot of shows in the US, and many USA websites are blocked, if not in the US. Not anymore! Netflix included!
I loved watching Gnomeo and Juliet! What a great animated film, I think it was from last year! I've been catching up on Brothers and Sisters and Gossip Girl also.
I prefer Netflix because I hate the Love film service, what terrible customer service and they tried to charge me even when I had cancelled the trial in time. I've been looking forward to the netflix coming to the UK for ages.. and what I love about it is you can cancel online anytime you want, just click a button and it's done. No emailing or having to ring up and speak to a guy on the other of the phone who you can hardly understand and having to make up some excuse why you have to cancel.. like you have to do with Lovefilm.0 -
Signed up via MSE link using my email instead of Facebook (M+S voucher £8 deal is mentioned on the Netflix homepage)
Declined to follow Facebook+gave Netflix an idea of my film genre preferences.
Downloaded the Netflix Channel on my Wii via Wii Shop Channel.
Laid out in rows (DVD case sized pictures) by genre + up to 75 films per row.
(GENRES: Popular on Facebook/New Release/Tv Progs/Action+Adventure/Anime/British/Children + Family/Classic/Comedies/Documentaries/Drama/Foreign/Horror/Independent/Romantic/SCi-fi n Fantasy/Thrillers)
Wii connection (browsing etc.) can drop.
I don't think there is enough of what I like to keep me interested long term.
I am going to watch the Mechanic (nice on big screen)

I tried love film via my xbox and all the films were old and rubbish, and the netflix free trial is obvs the same according to a poster here.
Also, it was in the news that a family managed to rack up something like 11000 $ debt.
not sure how they ran up a debt you pay 6.00 a month not per film
on the xbox it is great theres some newer films and some old ones yeahReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
Hi all
i have just signed up to Netflix with the thought of getting the free M&S vouchers however when i called Netflix to ask how i get the vouchers, they gave me a code and told me to contact Money Saving Expert - which does not seem right.
is this a scam??
thanks

Update 9 Feb: Some MoneySavers called Netflix’s helpline and were told that they need to call and quote a code to get the deal. Netflix says its customer service team was giving out incorrect info – it's assured us that all you need to do is sign up via the link below to get the M&S vouchers.0 -
i too signed up with the quidco cashback offer, i already have lovefilm for 6 months.
netflix is good for the subtitles, and the higher resolution. it has a decent amount of films in addition to the tv shows but is tv show based.
the ps3 app could do with a better search function.
i will probably cancel it soon as i cant have 2 subscriptions and i watch films, not tv shows.Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -

Categories appear a little more expanded.
I like the way Netflix is getting to know you after watching a film, rating it, answering more genre questions and it makes viewing suggestions.
Playing a film on my netbook wasn't so smooth as with my wii but better after unticking HD. (I encountered issues with Silverlight/Firefox but a help window came up, Flash crashed too)
try IE on the PC?0 -
I've signed up to Netflix and have used the service with no problem, but can't see me renewing once the free trial is up. I currently use Lovefilm and have always been happy with them (both the postal and streaming services). Like other people, I have found the Netflix selection poor. I mainly watch world and arty-farty films and the selection is pretty rubbish on Netflix compared to Lovefilm. I expect I will spend the month catching up on some old TV shows and then cancel.0
