    Hi MSE Becca
Just wondering if there have been any developments regarding those who signed up for the Netflix offer using the offer link on the MSE web page but failed to get their vouchers.

    Regards

Thanks for getting in touch KabbaDabbaDoo. I've got your details and will be speaking to Netflix about it, as well as the others who have posted on here that they have experienced problems with the deal.

I will let you know when I know more.

    Many thanks,
    MSE Becca
  • Hi MSE Becca

I received this communication today from Netflix:

"Sorry for the troubles you have encountered while trying to sign up for Netflix though Marks and Spencer.

Enclosed you will find your gift code for Marks and Spencer.

We will be providing you these codes for another 2 months as long as you remain a member..."

This is as per the original offer that I clicked through from MSE. Their email did not mention MSE or explain the error or resolution at all but I think this must be due to this site querying the problem further after seeing the issues in this thread as I did not re-contact them. If so - thanks!

I have yet to see how these vouchers will actually work as what I got was a Gift Code and a Pin number in the email - online or in store... ?? I'll have to look into that.

Hopefully this will be resolved for others in this thread too.

You have to use them online, but you can have the items delivered free to a store (which is what I did). I didn't have any problems with the voucher.

  • Hi everyone, I know some of you are having problems with the M&S voucher offer from Netflix. I have responded to those who've contacted MSE directly, and the issues have been sorted for these users.

If you are still having problems, please PM me your details and I will pass them on to Netflix and ask them to look into the issue. If you PM me the following, it'll make it easier:

    Name on account:
    Email address on account:
    Date signed up:

    Many thanks,
    MSE Becca

Now it looks like lots of us are getting another free month after the initial voucher woes I wonder how this will affect the original MSE offer?

Thanks for your question I Luv Cats - I forwarded it to Netflix and was given the following response:

For customers to whom we extended an extra free month while we sorted out the voucher issue, they’ll still get the second voucher on the start of the second month, even though that month is free and not paid.

    I hope this helps :)

    Many thanks,
    MSE Becca

So far I have had no problem with netflix. We watch the films through the wii.

I like the fact that I can log in to the childrens options and then let the children pick what they want to watch without having to vet it first.

I don't like the fact that I can not have the children watching one film on the wii and me go in another room and watch a different film on the pc.

In a way i like that the films are changed often however not when I see something and think ohhh i will watch that at the weekend when little one are in bed to then find its no-longer on there when the time comes.
  • I had my first voucher then got an unexpected top up to the £10 as the first code apparently didnt work. I have paid for my first month at £5.99 but as yet have not seen a second £8 voucher.
