They look lush. Why does FF not look that good when I try it?
Ooh and Fixx, does the croc effect work? I have never got the crackle ones to work and don't know why. Think I must just be too slow for it.
I've got FF as well, but haven't quite found the right combination to get it to look great either - I like it, but I've got other pollishes I *love*.
Croc effect - nope, I've never got it to work! I've not had a problem with the crackle ones, just paint it on thick and quickIt doesn't work with the croc effect though - as I have 2 bottles I'll try experimenting a bit more with it and see
The gold crackle is my favourite btw, works so well, and looks so dramatic over dark colours. I wore it over a pastel green for St. Patricks day too, which was quite fun - I'll see if I can post a picture sometime.

I believe you have to paint the croc effect one on before the polish underneath is quite dry. I've not tried it yet.0

I had a little play with it yesterday using my daughters nails - not quite ready to sacrifice my orange glitter just yet!
On its own it is very sheer. It does need to go over something. We layered it over 2 coats of Zoya matt black and it looked great. I will also be trying it over a very dark blue as I think that will also work well.0 -
i did it over a metalicly creamy/gold and it looks a nice strong purplely glitter.0

Hello ladies (I'm kind of assuming there are no men on this thread?!), may I please join you, as I am a serious nail polish addict, and wholly unrepentant?
No! Run away as fast as you can as this thread will cost you money :rotfl:.
I've made another purchase - this time of Technic Carnival which is a [much cheaper] dupe of OPI Rainbow Connection. I was looking for a chunky glitter to do a glitter sandwich and think this will be perfect. Talking of glitter... I got a free bottle of elf Golden Goddess with a Very order the other week - can anyone tell me what I did with it?1008 Hollywalk Park Blog0 -

Saw a blog post with fantasy fire over a Royal blue and it looked fantastic and really different. Thats next on my list of tries.
Although have lots of new polishes coming so might take a while.
