To ask a stupid question, but what's a jelly?

If you hadn't asked I would have had to. Never come across them called jellies before.

Hello starry starry =) My nails are currentlyOPI mermaids tears, a beautiful sea like greenness

Mermaids Tears is gorgeous, I bought that for my sister for her birthday last summer. When I saw how lovely it looked on her nails I wished I'd kept it for myself :o

    Of course.

I've always held of jellies as i don't like viable nail line.

I'm soooooo tempted by the Nails Inc Juicy Sheers collection and i think they'd work ok for this?

Well I've not heard of those - maybe I need them for my sandwich too?

Just redone my nails and put the Models Own hedkandi Ibiza Mix over some dark purple - looks fantastic but possibly a wee bit blingy for work lol :)

Really want that, where did you buy from please? Didn't realise they were available already!

Received two orders yesterday; ten Cheeky stamping plates and two polishes: Cover Band Sticks & Stones and Nail-Venturous Floam :-)

I believe you have to paint the croc effect one on before the polish underneath is quite dry. I've not tried it yet.

Thanks for the tip - I never knew this!

I had a quick play last night (was going out for dinner, so not much time), and it definitely works better with tacky polish, but I'm still not that convinced :(

I tried it just over clear varnish on a nail colour wheel thing so I could see the effect - once over tacky polish, and once over polish that was almost still liquid - both about the same, and not the kind of effect it suggests on the bottle, boo. I've seen some photos online where people have got it to look good though. I'll have a proper play over various colours at the weekend when I've got some free time. Will see if I can post some photos tonight too…

Decided to go a bit retro today (lol) and use magnetics again.

Going for the Fashionista Red colour and a star shaped magnet. I like the star magnet best as i place in slightly different on every nail and then the random effect looks intentional. I fin with the wavvy pattern in looks uneven from thumb to baby finger.

I was far too tired and feeling my cold symptoms to do my Hunger Games nails last night (watching it tonight), so still got Jawbreaker on:

Had to nip into town late to get teething powders for baby (teething at 8 weeks old?!? ) and treated myself to some new nail files, and 2 nail varnishes.

Revlon - Stunning (340) it's like a silver glitter top coat, very nice :)

and Rimmel Lycra Pro - Peppermint (500)

Tried to get the aforementioned Models Own Hed Kandi Black Glitter but sold out! :(

Seem to remember Revlon Stormy being mentioned a few pages back. Fragrance Direct have got it for 99p if anyone's interested. They've also got Emerald City for £1.75. Fill yer boots ladies.
