Had a look online for pics of FF over black and I found this http://www.makeupalley.com/m_137510501

That has just sent me into the city centre in my lunch break to buy a bottle of FF.

I've been immune up til now.

Of course with the 3 for 2 offer another couple sort of hitched a ride home as well. Don't ask me what the names are - I had to borrow a pair of reading glasses off another shopper to check I'd got FF. The Boots assistant couldn't read it either!

Well I tried to stamp my new short nails with one of the bundle monster full nail designs but I still couldn't get it to cover the whole nail in one go. I tried to patch the bits I'd missed but 'm too much of a neat freak so I've taken it off. I think I'll have to section off part of my nail with masking tape and just stamp the rest.

So I'm going to try Nails Inc Belgrave Place plus FF....back with pics later...

Fantasy Fire is so gorgeous I can't think of the words to describe it. Certainly photos don't do it justice, but here it is over NI Belgravia Place...

That's one coat of FF, I've added another now and a top coat. Love it, will be buying another bottle next time I'm in Boots, since it'll be discontinued soon.

JUst put LDs Inside Scoop on - unsure atm the moment, not really sure its me. Don't even remember buying it. I think i may use it as a base coat for an eyeball bleeding green neon.

On that thought can't anyone recomend a good white polish. I like to apply white under my neon colours and after using my last one up (a £shop cheapy) can't find a good coverage white polish. Everyone i have bought recently takes about four coats to stop massive streakyness and when i add a couple of coats of colour on top it never seams to dry.

I use a Nailene French Manicure pen - dries really fast and is an easy base coat. They are about a fiver in Boots or Asda

I didn't want to hear that :( Hopefully my two bottles will last me.

It looks really pretty over that colour though :D

Nails Inc Old Park Lane; and like my last choice don't think i like it :-(

Its too nuetral for me i think; and i've never used one of this metallicy ones before and god damn it has shown up every flaw in my nails an i have a few brush marks. NI polishes are normally pretty forgiving on my nails.

Oh the plus sidei painted it last night and have done a full days work and no chips - i never go 24hrs without chips.

    starrystarry love those colours together.

Has anyone seen the new lacquers in Sainsbury's by Eye Candy. I bought one on Saturday called Early Night as I thought it looked like a dupe for the Sephora by OPI Meto Chic that I can't buy over here. When I got it home and compared the two it was not as dark and looked more like a slightly lighter version of LD Leading Lilac. Wouldn't buy this brand again as the quality is pretty awful, very gloopy and took ages to dry. But then it was only £5.00 per bottle. I noticed that they also sell magnetised ones for £10.00.

Today, I'm wearing OPI a Ruby for Rudolph. Fancied a bit of glitter without being too glittery for work IYKWIM.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hello ladies (I'm kind of assuming there are no men on this thread?!), may I please join you, as I am a serious nail polish addict, and wholly unrepentant? :D

I'm been following this thread for a while - it's fantastic! So many beautiful nail designs and colours, and general inspiration. I've even added quite a few blogs to my list to check on for more ideas :rotfl:

My collection isn't quite as impressive as some here, but I've got a few dozen polishes or so, and no doubt will add to that in future :p I've decided nail polishes etc do not count in the "No more toiletries" challenge, as I don't have an issue with nail polishes, I love them! (though when I tidied them last week I did discover that I had 2 bottles of each of Barry M gold crackle and black croc effect, oops! No idea how I did that).

They look lush. Why does FF not look that good when I try it?

Ooh and Fixx, does the croc effect work? I have never got the crackle ones to work and don't know why. Think I must just be too slow for it.
