Nails Inc Chesham Street with a gem.
Needs tidying up but i'll probably take it off tonight insteadI like the colour but it's gone a bit gloopy.

My favourite colour ever is OPI's Queen of D'Nile, a long since discontinued nude taupe colour which I have to source through ebay over the odds.
I wanted to see if anyone could advise me on a nice dark navy blue colour. Thanks0 -
I think that in general they can be hard to do.
I've had a friend ( who is an experienced nail tech) put Minx on my toes a few times. The metallics tend to be more fiddly and awkward than the non metallics.
She has it down to a fine art now but it doesn't look that easy and I've not been tempted to try myself as I think I'd make a complete hash of it. I heard the language when she was learning - I volunteered to be her practice model!
Thank you! I persevered a bit and found a) if you warm them up first they stretch a bit and you can pull them a bit tauter thus minimizing the crinkle and b) file the end off don't cut them!
Here is a pic; not perfect but not bad for a quid lol!

Lovely pictures everyone!
See not even 24 hours later and I'm already chipped. I'll try the tip of giving my nails a scrub before I paint them.0 -

I've been wearing Creative's "Inkwell" quite a lot recently. It's a really dark dark blue; looks almost black in some lights.
I've been sponging on some holographic polish on top using kitchen roll to give a very subtle sparkly highlight. Unfortunately no pictures.0 -

I'll have a quick look at those too. I want a true navy rather than blue shade so if hey are in the same veins at OPI's Lincoln Park after dark they should be spot on.
Thanks guys!0 -

Hmmm, I'd be v disappointed if mine chipped that badly after 1 day. I don't have time to paint mine every night.0 -
Might have gone out and bought 3 new nail varnishes... They're all colours I've never tried before and I'm sticking to that excuseSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0
