ps this is sans a top coat as i am taking it off later - so missing the glossy look. Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
On the subject of holo polishes, I've managed to find a UK stockist of Layla polishes. Their holos look amazing, not bad prices either (for holo)...

starrystarry wrote: »backhoe...if it's holo !!!!!! you're after, it has to be GOSH 549. But it's rare so ridiculously expensive. Someone recommended the Catherine Arley ones a couple of pages back, they look nice. The Speciallita HITS range is gorgeous but you have to order them from Brazil. Holo is not a cheap habit unfortunately.
Lifeforms...the OPI gold shatter is very sparkly (once you add a top coat). They do a silver one as well but I struggle with that, it doesn't seem to shatter very well for me.
Hi Muppet_baby...welcome to the thread...I've got the OPI Muppet minis, they're gorgeous (Excuse Moi on my toes now).
Ladies, Gosh is rumoured to be re-releasing 549 Holographic. I went and sold mine for charity a few weeks ago and it went for £17.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Oh my goodness, if they re-release 549 I'm buying half a dozen, then I can wear it whenever I want instead of rationing it. Mind you, that Layla Mercury Twilight looks very similar.0 -
Well that all went horribly wrong. Water marbling just didn't work whatever temp we had the water. Tried some nail art and stamping that just looked pants so took it all off and resorted to clear for work tomorrow.
Oh the plus side had a good look at some nail !!!!!! on ebay!!! lol. I've got to get me some holographic polish. Any recommendations.
Here are my holo recommendations:
1. A England has some lovely holo polishes, but they are scattered and not linear.
2. You could also try to get some spectraflair and making your own holo polishes.
3. Nfu Oh - they have a range (I believe #61-65) of holo polishes.
4. Color Club - Revvolution and Worth the Risque
5. China Glaze OMG collection (a bit expensive on ebay)
6. Chanel holographic (another very expensive polish on ebay)
7. Layla
8. Hits
9. Gosh - as I mentioned before there is a rumour they will be re-releasing 549 Holographics
10. Make up Store has awesome holo polishes too, they have a shop in Westfields and I believe you can purchase online too.
Here is a comparison of China Glaze OMG, Nfu oh 61, and Gosh holographics (sorry my photos are crap, this is when I first started blogging)
