Hi picchinails...your blog is wonderful, my eyes were out on stalks when I was reading it earlier. I'm soooo jealous that you've got all those Layla holos

Hi Picchi - your nails are fantastic! I love the flock ones and the 'Essence' ones with the glitter and white stamping - sooo pretty!

Hello everyone, as promised a while ago a picture of my current stash. I keep my polishes in a fold out beauty box but as you can see I am starting to run out room so need to start thinking about alternative storage.

My jubilee nails, inspired by amyb's regal nails (excuse my foot in the background)

So I am trying to be good and not buy any polishes in June. Really really tempted by the Nails Inc pick and mix (must not go there.......)

Also is it odd that I'm not really swayed by the holo polishes, do I need my head looking at? :rotfl:
    I :heart2: saving money

Re Barielle polish-I used it finally and like it :) Nice size brush and good coverage-2 coats is enough :) No streaks or clumps. No pics as my nails aren't long enough yet but I recommend it thoroughly :)

Now this may be tempting me to break my no buying nail polish in June, wonder if my local TKMaxx will have any left.........

I'm glad you don't like them, one less person for me to trample underfoot as I stampede into Superdrug when they re-release GOSH 549 :rotfl:
  • Hello! Tell us how you get your nails so perfect! I'm so so jealous!!!
Awww, thanks! Don't be jealous, I just spend too much time painting my nails ;), ask my husband he has been complaining lately...
I don't have any super secret tricks but the few facts I know are these: The key to konad is speed and a nice clean stamper. And what I think makes a nice mani is a great, shiny topcoat and lots of patience.

You have made me super happy, thank you so much.
I'm lucky, I live in Italy so I don't have to pay the crazy shipping prices for the Laylas also I'm a bit of a holo whòre!!!!! :p.

I should not say this but I was super proud of the Essence ones with the flowers too:embarasse. I have been doing konad for a little over a year now but I have almost never used the individual designs. I'm not artistic or very creative and I always got stumped on how to organize the stamps and so gave up before I began.
The fuzzy nails are something I just had to try. I had been seeing the flocking powder manis all over Flicker and the blogs. It's a copycat mani but so darn fun to wear!!!

Anyone else tried the magnetic nail varnish? My SIL got me onto it. I posted a pic of it on my diary, I'm in the middle of doing my nails the elctric blue with diagonal stripes. Its comes in 4 colours (black, plum, purple and electric blue), paint one coat, let it dry, paint second coat and whilst its wet hold the special magnet over it and the pattern appears!

Ladies, Gosh is rumoured to be re-releasing 549 Holographic. I went and sold mine for charity a few weeks ago and it went for £17.
    Where was this rumour?
